“Recommended to try this place by the staff over at the waxing location across the street. (Lunchbox) We crossed the street and entered a very casual dining room, each table had silverware and glasses and have the traditional condiment setup. The wooden tables had the live edge including those in the booths which gave the place a very current and ecofriendly vibe. I ordered the new avocado fries and a chicken sandwich with hot honey sauce on the side. My husband had the 'all American' burger and added bacon which came with French fries. The chicken was perfectly cooked moist and filling the burger cooked just my husband asked medium rare and was so juicy it! The avocado fries were great as were the French fries...prices are a bit high but we had leftovers to take home and will enjoy them later. Looking forward to our next time trying this place.”

“First time stopping by the Bagelry and although it’s super clean, quaint, and the workers friendly, the sandwich was meh. Ordered an egg and turkey bacon on a bagel. Specifically said “no cheese”. Received the sandwich with cheese and what appeared to be uncooked/chewy turkey bacon. Didn’t realize this until I was long gone but recommend letting the bacon sit on the grill to cook a little and definitely ensuring what is ordered is what the customer receives. Other than that, the bagel was solid...”

“This place was great! I had a slight hesitation when I opened the menu and saw no descriptions of the food, indicating a surprising lack of awareness of non-Indian customers. But the waitress noticed this and the chef walked over and explained that the menu will add details. And THEN explained how many items are prepared. Other places have done this, however, so while appreciated, it's not what set them apart. Their FOOD was really exceptionally good. We ended up ordering dishes that we've had before many times at many places. But here, they did something different with the spices that made it very, very good. The decor was beautiful, well-lit (which is rare in Indian restaurants for some reason), and very inviting. But I have to be honest, I've enjoyed great Indian food in really drab, unkempt places. So, again, the food! The chef really did something unique, and I absolutely loved it.”

Our family usually gets the chicken sandwiches with the Chick-Fil-A sauce and they are great. The fries are fantastic too. “This place was a lovely surprise, and seems like a nice addition to Morristown's circuit of restaurants. I was expecting something along the lines of Taco Bell, and it turned out to be so much more than that. The food is tasty and hand crafted using healthy ingredients and blends of American influences. I was greeted by one of the attendants and given some extra to try when I gave my opinion. The only downside is the serving sizes are a little small. The dining experience makes up for the small serving sizes - there are hanging plants, graffiti hearts and letters on the wall, and open air dining on warm days. They put in a lot of work into making it look rustic and artsy. Overall, five out of five stars.”

I heard of Elmas from a group of friends who stumbled upon the place, and they set the expectations for the restaurant very high, so I just needed to see what all the commotion was about!
