“Food just Ok. Better in the area for the same $$. For the price ($38 halibut cane with spinach and potatoes) we really expected a WOW factor that just wasn’t there. For those prices at surrounding restaurants you leave wanting more. We won’t be back.”

The Grenville Hotel & Restaurant

Address: 4735, 345 Main Ave, Bay Head, NJ 08742, USA

Restaurant

“Simple, yet elegant is how I would describe my experience at the buffet this past Christmas Day. I was looking for a place for my wife and mom to have a quiet dinner. We are not big eaters, so the thought of going to a fancy expensive restaurant with loud noise and sub-par service, did not appeal to me. Instead, we decided to try The Grenville Hotel. It turned out to be the perfect place. Very nice buffet choices, wonderful owner- Maureen, who took the time to personally visit each table and welcome each guest. No big frills (live band, large bar, huge buffet, large crowds). Quite the opposite...nice small group of people, quiet, and BYOB! I think the Grenville is one of the best kept secrets on the barrier island. I plan to visit again soon to try their Sunday brunch. Anthony”
