“After hanging out at the Station for a bit, a buddy and I decided to go for pizza. He swore by Anthony’s and I definitely could not refuse. We walk in to find two young women working behind the counter, and they were very kind and welcoming. My friend informed them that I was not from NJ, and that I had great expectations of their pizza. One of the girls started to make my pizza, when the other one said that she would take over...supposedly the second girl was the resident “expert”. I was happy to note the enthusiasm. We walk back to the seating area and seat ourselves. The place is cozy, clean and tastefully done with artwork adorning the walls. Once the pizza arrives ( medium veggie with olives, onions and jalapeños), we can’t wait to dig in, and we were not the least bit disappointed. The crust was so chewy and tasty, and the cheese was just perfect. Needless to say, the pizza did not stand a chance, we could have eaten more but that would’ve made us gluttons. This place is a gem, and is well known by locals. If you do happen to visit the area, do drop in ...I know I will :-)”

“The food at this location is Authentic. I have not found a better quality Nathan's or Arthur T's anywhere. The hotdogs are the real thing, with pop-when-you-bite real casings. These are not the cheaper skinless dogs that (unfortunately) many other establishments squeak by with. The fries are out of this world, great! Just like Coney Island, NY. We also tried the patty melt burger and the fish. These were not the reason why we initially stopped in for, but they are another reason why we will be going back. And there is a reason for all of this: The owner makes sure everything is done perfectly. He is welcoming, he manages, he helps his staff prepare the food when it gets busy. They do get very busy, so you might want to call ahead during peak times.”

“I had a very nice experience with Sakana Sushi & Ramen on Cedar Grove Road in Somerset, NJ. I called in an order for take out and while it was a little bit of a challenge to explain my order, they got it right. The restaurant was nicely decorated for Christmas and I was greeted with a big welcome and my meal was ready to go. The sushi was nicely prepared, tasted good and was well-proportioned. I thought it was a bit pricey for the portion but not bad. I look forward to ordering from here again.”
