“Place wasn't busy. Ordered a tuna melt and sweet potato fries. After waiting 20 minutes we had to ask where our food was. Another 10 minutes passed and the plate was dropped on the table. No smile, no reaction, just dropped and slid the plate. The fries were piping hot, the tuna melt was barely warm. We also thought it was odd to have bacon on a tuna melt - the menu did not specify bacon. Since we are vegetarians we peeled it off. This was our first visit. Perhaps it was an "off" day. I would think long and hard about returning which is sad because their mission is very worthwhile.”

“This place is absolutely amazing. Its been in town for awhile and I happen to stop in for the first time today. Fresh, light, and flavourful pizza. The food keeps your taste buds dancing. “Quick service, open late, good location in Fanwood. Has small seating area and a tricky parking lot (watch for kids and cars backing out when you come here). Wish it had a drive-thru like the one in Scotch Plains on Route 22. Does have all of the latest promotions and supports the community as well. Easy path in the back to the train station (would be nice if they added some lighting back there).”

“I love their sushi! Everything tastes fresh and is well prepared. Whenever I order from here, they give 2 pieces of free sushi with my order. I usually call in my order and pick up. I've never had to wait for it and the staff and chef are friendly. This is my go-to spot for sushi when I am home, since it's close to my house.”

“I traveled to try Fanwood Grille. I ordered 2 dogs sauerkraut, no mustard. Ilittle pricey for 2 dogs. When I got out to the car and started to eat, the hot dog fell through the bun due to all the mustard. The hot dog was barely cooked. It was not good. I threw it all out. I was in the area the other day but wouldn't go. I will give it another try.”
