“Anytime I pass by during business hours I stop in. They have one of the best Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwiches I've ever had. And definitely not one slice as some reviewers suggested. “The best Taylor ham, egg, and cheese I've had in North Jersey. The sweets are top notch too. Anytime I'm within a half hour of G&A, I go by. Been coming here for a good eight or nine years and quality has held up. Staff is friendly. Not a ton of parking but never an issue. “Went to this Bagel place for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised to see a varied menu for a bagel place. They even had a lamb platter. Look, ambience, cleanliness is all good here. My one and only criticism is the ingredients. Small complaint. If your going to give me tomatoes give me slices of fresh tomatoes. What they gave me were yesterday’s left overs. The rest of the platter is good. It was a little expensive for a platter. I’m assuming because there aren’t many places that sell platters of lamb that they are able to be expensive.”

“The bagels were all warm when I picked them up at 7am. Fluffy, chewy, and with not too much center hole. I got my usual veggie bagel with light veggie cream cheese (big chunks of carrot and bell pepper), lettuce, and tomato. I thought I saw they had cucumber but didn’t get any in my bagel. They also have a large selection of bagel flavors including some unusual ones (no one in all of NJ or NY make jalapeño cheddar though, much to my despair). Of course I got my favorite, plain. No line at 7am, they were quick and have plenty of tables and seating inside. Nothing fancy as far as decor, interior was showing its age but you go for the bagels not the atmosphere. Also have coffee cakes, muffins, and some other baked goods. I found parking on the street outside. Credit card surcharge of $1 for any totals less than $10, be forewarned.”

“Basically hot bagels is an every weekend staple in our home. I’ve been coming here for years, and am biased because this location is my most local Hot Bagels. Try a sweet bagel with a meat/egg and cheese. They also do wraps/other breakfast items. Menu is online and very straightforward. Call ahead if you’re in a rush, on Saturday/Sunday mornings they do get busy so expect you may not get someone on the phone right away. If you’re in a time crunch usually ordering a bagel with some kind of cream cheese will get you out faster than getting anything off the griddle. The muffins are AMAZING, the coffee is also great and there are usually a couple options after 8am. Highly recommend this shop, they don’t skimp on the meats/cheese/cream cheese; if you like food, just go.”

“This is one of the best bagel places in NJ/NY hands down! Truthfully, I’ve always enjoyed these bagels and their specialty cream cheeses- they’re chock full of flavor and the cream cheeses are artfully made with lots of big chunks of whatever you order in it (for me, it’s jalapeño). I am writing today because I am just utterly so grateful and amazed at the experience we had this Sunday. My husband and I walked by at 4:00 pm when the store closed an hour ago- when we realized, we started to walk away. The owner of the store invited us to order and was so generous and kind to us- patiently had his staff prepare our bagel while we chatted. The owner was so kind and friendly and while we were chatting about the increasing costs of everything, he explained how he would not pass down his increased costs to customers. He was truly so wonderful to us- we always supported Bagels and Cream because of the quality but now, we will continue to support it because of the amazing owner and staff AND quality!”
