Order food here once a week at least and absolutely love it. Today I went back in after picking up my order to ask for boba in my tea (ordered but left out) and watched in shock as the girl took my drinks with her gloved hands (both me and my friend had already touched them to check if maybe we just overlooked the boba) and after resolution (gave me boba in a little sauce container) she proceeded to make another customer’s food with the same gloves. They also accused me of not specifying I wanted boba and were rude until they finally took my receipt and realized I had paid (and specified) for it.
Update: the owner reached out and really blew it out of the water with taking responsibility and action. Very impressed and hope to have better visits from here on out!
Went in and ordered my food, got home and the rice was not cooked through. All the other ingredients were great. This will not stop me from going back. Every other time has been great. Just hoping that the owner sees this and corrects the problem
Good consistent quality poke bowls. They have really great vegetarian options that taste delicious. Fresh and good greens, friendly staff, and reasonably priced for the level of quality.
I found Poki Poki few years ago and it has become one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. I love the combination of sushi and a bowl. Their ingredients are always very fresh and delicious and their staff is very nice and friendly. This location is good for people watching along Central as well. My favorites are the Hawaiian Bowl and the Boss Bowl. I can easily recommend Poki Poki for anyone that would like to try sushi in a bowl. They also have very tasty looking tacos but I honestly haven't tried them yet. I will update when I do.
For those who have yet to experience a poki bowl, imagine an enormous sushi roll, in a bowl.
Poki Poki offers not only specialty bowls, but you can also build your own, which, in itself, is an adventure. The array of fish, vegetable ingredients, and wide array of delectable sauces and dressings is staggering.
The ingredients are of optimum freshness and flavor, and you will not be disappointed with the finished product. Even if I'm full before the bowl is empty, I can't help but finish.
The staff are incredibly friendly, inviting, and helpful, and once can also accrue rewards points to be allocated to free purchases in the future.
