This is the first time we've eaten here. Just tried the chicken sandwich and this was pretty good. A little messy for me but not for my husband. Next time I would order the sauce on the side and the sauce itself is pretty good. We will definitely be back. I want to try other things on the menu but definitely try the chicken sandwich!
As a regular of this place, I am fanatic of its breakfast and burritos breakfast. But today I tried the chicken sandwich in combo. I can say that it is one of the best meals I ever ate. Perfectly fried. The fries have the precise amount of salt and paprika. The food was prepared for take out and was perfectly presented.
I sometimes over order, and as a result overeat. Try to cut mine in half and take half of it home if I've really purchased too much. In this case, I couldn't even get through half. It was pretty delicious though.
I can't remember the actual name of the sandwich;like case b or section B. But it was a biscuit sandwich with bacon, and fried chicken, and an egg on it. It was huge!
Indians, I ate about a third of it. The next day my wife and I cut the remaining sandwich in half again and shared that for breakfast.
I like the place. I think it had a good atmosphere, very very nice people, and affordable prices, at least if you don't buy three times as much food as you really need. My wife had a more reasonable diskit sandwich and it was just about right for her.
All in all, it was a good experience and I'll probably go back again. I would recommend it to others. Also, take a look at the photos I took of the food in the interior.
Newer location. Interesting diner type vibe, veteran celebration motif. 15% of net profits are donated to VA hospital.
Service was outstanding, very accommodating (I didn’t order off the menu) and attentive. All the staff was smiling, inc chefs.
Variety of seating styles and a separate meeting/luncheon dining room for groups.
Food was very good. We all had different variations of bacon/chicken, biscuits, sausage gravy, papitas and Green Chile. Tons of variety on the menu, for all you want to have. Check out the height of that chicken biscuit plate!
