“This is a hidden gem worth making the detour off the 40 for. I was passing through needing lunch and a place to do some work. This was the best spot. Got the cheese curds, burger and the homemade 🍎 pie! Everything was great and the staff was awesome.”

“A good friend of mine from Colorado had come through town for work. He and his wife stopped in to have some food and a drink. He loved the place so much he put money down on a tab for me. Needless to say, he urged me to go out and enjoy the tab. After a few months, I finally got a chance to go out to Cedar Crest. Have to say. What a treat. Good food. Strong community and tasty food. We lucked out and got there on a Saturday afternoon and where entertained by a wonderful country duo playing a lot of great oldies Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash to name a few. If you ride a motorcycle it's a great ride and a good destination. If don't ride beautiful scenery and worth the drive. Just 20 minutes outside of Albuquerque.”

“We went out today 6/2/2020 for a mid afternoon bite. Sat in patio. My wife daughter and I. Enjoyed the food, weather was nice. Service was great. Believe her name was Charissa. She made it a very nice experience. We tried just about everything since we had never stopped by. Definitely will go again!”

“Extremely impressed - they definitely deliver on the flavor! It took me a long time to stop by as the previous restaurant was terrible, and I thought they may have been related. Definitely not the case. Our 4 taco platter with the included hot salsa's was amazing. Finally a restaurant up here in the mountains that lives up to the "authentic Mexican" label. We'll be back for sure!”

“The size of everything is shockingly small. But their burritos are decent. Bland flavors.”

“We go to Green Side often! The service is always friendly and excellent! We have always had a great experience. All of the food is great- the Friday chowder is awesome and they have a great selection of local draft beers! The menu is one where you could pick anything and not go wrong. I could recommend the brisket tacos, chicken fried steak, or the fish and chips.”

“Wow! I just had a fantastic birthday lunch with my wife. We had a vegan pizza with black olives and “pepperoni” and it was excellent. They even brought her a brownie w/ ice cream to celebrate. The owners singing voices weren’t bad either, doing a great rendition of Happy birthday. Thanks for the great experience, we’ll be back. ????”

“Jim runs the place and Mary was around helping out when I was there, both great guides to the area and gave me great recommendations on food, coffee, campsites, and roads to hit on my motorcycle! Hostel itself is probably quite empty so you'll most likely have the entire kitchen, living area, and bedroom to yourself! Great location to go explore Scandia Mountain!”
