“Located off of south Coors near to Raymac. The atmosphere was well lit and down to earth. The service was spectacular, greeted immediately by a smiling hostess/waitress who showed us good ole New Mexican hospitality. Perfectly portioned, the food came out well presented for this family owned and operated restaurant. The tacos were dry at first; order extra chilli sauce, I absolutely enjoyed the red Chile sauce. Burritos with papas, either pork or beef were modest and delicious. The green Chile sauce was almost uncomfortable but I am not a New Mexican by birth so most here would probably enjoy that heat. The shrimp cocktail is definitely a fan favorite. The cocktail sauce was a subtle, tasty endeavor. Overall I would come back and bring friends!”

“Ordered online, was quoted 16-20 minutes, but 50 minutes later was when they finally gave me the bag, after I was waiting for over 30 minutes. Barely any acknowledgement, and then when I asked for the dips that I ordered because they were missing, they practically threw them at me. I'll call before I pick up next time, and will wait to leave a tip instead of paying up front”

“***RECOMMEND *** 3/2023: NEW OWNER/MGMT Restaurant is located off of Rio Bravo and Isleta (across the street from Little Anita's and near Bank of America). Plenty of parking spots are available. Happy Asian Restaurant was not busy at my time of visit at 4p so I had time to look things over. I was greeted by Lexie, who was exceptionally friendly. She informed me that the restaurant had a new owner and asked if I liked the new concept. Lexie also asked if I needed to know about any ingredients that were in anything that I wanted to order and that it could be altered. Another friendly gentleman also assisted Lexie while I was there and seemed to be a great team. After reviewing the menu (pics attached), I ordered the pepper steak and made an ingredient change. To Go container came out within 5 - 7 mins. It was heavy! The food was tasty and hot. I will go back and try a different dish just to keep my food choices interesting.”

“Came in after around 3:30 after lunch and when things were beginning to slow down. First impression is the menu. Lots to choose from. Taqitos, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and tostada's. Food came out within 15 minutes hot. I tried the enchiladas; beef and pork. Inside seating area needed attention. Nothing horrendous but filled with crumbs. You could tell they had a busy day. Beans were a bit too salty for my taste. Rice cooked perfectly. Tender chicken chunks. Shredded beef melted in the tortilla. Jamaica drink is too sugary for me. Go for the horchata instead. Don't forget to grab a small boat of tortilla chips. They offer it at the front but never tell you about it. Or at least I was not told about it. Cashier helped me pick the local favorite dishes. Pictured food: #5.”

“Ordered a Chicago Deep Dish pie with ham, pineapple, mushrooms and black olives; also ordered a Chicago Hot Beef sandwich, less bell peppers. I must say this place takes me back 40+ years when stationed at Great Lakes Naval Training Center. This pie is made with love, care. Good quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. The sandwich was served hot with the au jus on the side, perfect for someone wanting to eat it at a local park, enjoy some sunshine. The pie was taken home to be reheated, enjoyed that evening, and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend this place to all looking for a great pie or a sandwich.”
