“Drove by and saw their sign from the street, and then looked it up online and saw the good food. I don't really understand the reviews. Yes, they were busy with just three Chefs/Cooks. And one cashier. They said hello and let me know there was a wait but that the food would be out shortly, and it was. Once I received the food, I had to try the orange chicken and Edamame, and all I could literally do was say mmmmhhhhh." So good. It almost melted in my mouth, and then when I got home, I had the fried rice with vegetables and teriyaki chicken and thought, "This place gets 5's all across the board!"”

“The Crown Room is something of an anomaly. It wants to recreate the old school glamour of fine dining in a casino however when the casino in question is mostly penny slots in a horse racetrack located at the edge of a part of town commonly referred to as "The War Zone" then you're more likely to share a restroom with someone with face tattoos rather than someone from the Rat Pack. The actual restaurant itself is also a mix of contradictions. On most visits the food has been top-notch and served to perfection. Other times I've received over fried calamari burnt to a crisp. My last visit was similar with excellent food though served with chipped plates, extremely water spotted wine glasses and an odd refusal to offer new forks between courses with an overwhelmed wait staff. Though I suppose as long as people are willing to gamble then The Crown Room will be subsidized by their losses and stick around in all its contradictory glory.”

“Tiny Mexican spot along Wyoming. Easy to miss, but I've always seen it and wanted to stop in. I went by on a Saturday morning, no one else was there. You order at a counter and the lady was nice. I got 2 breakfast burritos for my son and I. There aren't many tables and it has a VERY retro vibe. But it was clean and we took a small 2 person table. The food was ready at the counter pretty quick. Burritos were wrapped in foil on a tray. They were tasty enough, though not exceptional. They didn't hold together well, you could definitely not eat these in the car. The red chili sauce was only ok, and dominated the flavor. The eggs were a little stingy. There was a lot of other stuff on the menu so I'd be willing to try something non breakfast. If you're feeling adventurous, check it out! The breakfast burrito might not be the killer item though.”

I'd definitely recommend this location -- it might be the most consistent out of all the Wecks locations I've been to. It’s also not as loud or busy on the weekdays which is a plus.”

“From the moment we walked in, I knew we should have left. Wasn't our scene but heard the drinks & food were good, but that was not our experience. Hostess sat us in a spot where the waitresses didn't even know who was supposed to help us. So waited alot of the time for anything, 25 minutes for good oddly proportioned nachos overloaded with pickled jalapenos. Margarita was $20 w/one shot! Hopefully this was just my experience, or they were short handed like most places but we won't be back.”
