Valley Cafe

We ate here over Memorial Day weekend on our way back from the Silver City Blues Festival. Hatch is such a sunny, friendly town with good vibes! I love it there. You can always tell if a restaurant is good by all of the locals who eat there. Many locals were there that day. We had really good green chile cheeseburgers and fries! The servers were excellent and brought us salsa and chips. I was able to buy a jar of their salsa and of their green chile. Ooh mama...that's some good New Mexican cooking! Check out their menu because we only scratched the surface of their lovely cuisine!

When we walked in i had no knowledge or expectations on what was in store for us. Now I rarely eat my entire meal, but this green chili cheeseburger was so good I forced it down. Becky our server was very polite and attentive. Our food was great, service was awesome. So if you find yourself driving through Hatch New Mexico do yourself a favor and stop by and try the green chili burger at the Valley Cafe.

Stopped here as it was recommended by a local we chatted up while shopping at another Hatch store. She raved about how good the Green Chile Cheeseburger here was. Long story short, the burger was average. The onion rings were very good which helped salvage the experience. The waitress did provide some chips and salsa which was appreciated. Salsa had a nice light kick.

First time here today and it was really good. I got the beef fajitas and the fajitas were great, the beans and rice didn’t impress. I got my food and they took a couple of minutes to bring the tortillas (which I thought were handmade but they didn’t). The service was great and the place is comfy and clean, you should definitely try more about their menu.
