Anthony's Place Restaurant

Went by Anthony's Place and his brother said “ The name was based after his late brother whom passed. recommends the beef tacos” then ran into his grandfather who said “ his daughter and her son were the cooks” in the spot that was once Dos Lunas and more recently went by Barrachos Tacos and now officially “Anthony's Place” Mexican Cuisine home style this resteraunt is bigger than appears with many smaller indoor dining room areas you can fit the whole family in and have a nice private lunch and has a outdoor court yard for fresh air dining experience. Designed like a scene out of Coco movie with vibrant dias de la muertos memorabilia of Mexico styling, the adobe building is painted in a bright cool white great during hot summers, and traditional blue trim, which in Northern New Mexico is traditionally used on pueblo adobe homes and businesses to keep the good spirits in and the bad spirits out.

Beyond the comfortable dining experience the flavorful food was the best part, as one bite into the crunchy taco came the old school familiar home style flavors lacking in so many of the local corporate fast food. Anthony's patrons leave full and satisfied, not hungry.

"You member?” When that crunch just hits and the freshness of properly added crisp lettuce accompanied by fresh cut tomatoees, topped with good sauce, with just the right amount of flavor made that the whole bite just hits. A shell crunchs all the way through to the last bite due to properly drained taco meat layered with cheese not dripping in grease that tastes so great, there is no time to swallow the first because already taking the next bite. Bringing it into a home run.

Delicious! My first time here and it was a nice place to dine in. Customer Service was amazing. Very clean and food is great! I had steak tacos, beans, and chips and salsa. My husband had Chicken Fajita bowl and said it was very good! He later had a chicken quesadilla that was good also.

This place was incredible, the service was great from the moment we walked in, the food was so hot and fresh the jalapeño in my burrito had a fantastic crunch to it. The outdoor seating was quiet and provided a great seat for an awesome lunch!

Great restaurant, great atmosphere, great food, and great service. You can't go wrong eating here. Tonight was fajita night, and it was so delicious. They also had live music, which was wonderful. I highly recommend this cute little restaurant in Carlsbad, NM. If you haven't tried it out yet, what are you waiting for?
