“I lived and worked in and around Hobbs in the 90s, and Nipa Hut was where Hobbs oilfield and truckers went for breakfast. Their breakfast burritos were huge and delicious, with Nipa Hut’s amazing handmade salsa. They’ve expanded their menu and added a lot of new delicious options since those days, but their food is still fresh, delicious, quick, affordable, and obviously as popular as they ever were. No better place in Hobbs for a breakfast burrito. Try the Grumpy, it’ll feed you all morning, and you’ll definitely be back for another one, next time you’re in the mood for a breakfast burrito!”

“We were visiting Hobbs from Dallas and decided to try Lunas Drive Inn while we were in town. I had the ‘suicide’ burrito and it was delicious. Being from Ohio originally, we were definitely not ready for the spices. The ground beef has quite the kick to it, but the food overall was very good and my 3 friends agreed. They also have really good homemade lemonade that is worth trying.”

Its like they perfected it and just ran with it. Now it’s def my fav Mexican taco truck style place to order from around here. The chefs are front and center getting down. Sharon always keeps the drinks flowing and salads fresh! All staff is amazing here! You can visit the Derek Lounge right through the next door.”
