“Stopped by on a road trip because we'd never tried fry bread before. The staff were very friendly and gave us some recommendations of what to try. The frybread, lamb, and blackened peppers were amazing! I'm normally not a cooked pepper fan but theirs were the perfect texture- I may have to drive all the way from Minnesota to try this place again!”

“I had never eaten at this place before and wasn't sure what to expect. However, I was genuinely happy at the small and cozy setting with stools at the counter and booths, too. They have a great selection of Mexican and American foods at a fair price. Friendly people and great service. It's now one of my favorite places to eat in town!”

“Came in on a Thursday night. There's booths to sit and dine. The place smells good and fresh. The location is clean. The bathrooms are immaculately clean with changing tables (even in the men's room). The store room was open and everything in there is organized, stacked nicely, and clean. House special pizza was perfectly balanced with toppings and the crust was just right - crispy and soft. Wings (ordered plain with sauce on the side) were crispy. They're not seasoned, but they are meaty and crispy and the sauce is so good. I got mango habenero - perfect balance of sweet heat. Cheese bread sticks were perfectly cheesy with a butter garlic taste. Nice and soft too. They twist the bread so you can eat it like bread bites. Our 2 kids got ice cream for free with their on the door special. I snuck a taste of each. The ice cream is so good! Creamy, rich, flavorful. We've been to the other popular pizza places in Gallup. This is by far the best pizza joint.”

“Had order about 8:35pm. Got it from curbside pick-up. (Fyi: if you're picking up an order someone may park in pick-up waiting to get someone who isn't picking up an order.) Called and waiting for them to bring out. Paid them and left. Had got lamb ribs, sweet potato fries, corn on cob, blue corn mush with frybread. Green salad-ranch (only dressing) N-york cheesecake Icecream that I paid for but didn't receive. Call them back, nothing after 10mins of redialing from 2 phones nothing. Left a voicemail to call me back would even get it tomorrow since they close at 9pm. Still haven't heard a thing. So if you call in an order make sure to check before you leave. Crub-side is a little hard to see so it's in the front near valet right next to handicap parking.”

“We struggle to find quality dining in Gallup in our trips to CA and back. This one is a winner. We ordered a burger and a cheese enchilada plate. The enchiladas were small, which was fine for my big fat butt, but everything was tasty and the ingredients were all very fresh. We had an excellent and extremely friendly server. The whole restaurant, including the restrooms, was very clean and well kept. We’ll definitely be back!”

“The food was hot, it came out quickly and the price was right 5 dollars for the fill up. It was takeout but the table area looked like it could use some tlc. The employees were somewhat hurried. It was dinner time in fairness to them.”

“The rating should be a 4.5. We were on a road trip and BK was nearby. I typically eat at BK once a year or so, usually to remind myself that I don't really care for BK. i.e. Hunger and proximity led to this review. We went inside, and found it very neat, and organized. Our order of two BK burger meals was taken quickly and efficiently. The wait for our burgers was short. The burgers were to order, and surprisingly quite good. The fries were perfectly crispy. That said the fries just aren't as good as McD's fries flavor wise (hence the half star demerit). If this store was located in my hometown, I would likely eat at BK more often. If you like BK burgers, it's a solid place to stop for lunch.”

“Excellent restaurant, I enjoyed the meal I ordered. Service was fast, price was far and restaurant was clean. The dining room is limited so it might need to wait a little if the restaurant is busy. I definitely will come back if I am traveling the i40”

“I love this place! I ordered 5 family meals for my daughter’s party and they packaged everything perfectly and they even gave us extras as well as plenty of salsas, guacamole, salt&pepper, honey, and even plates and utensils! I placed my order a couple days ahead of time and it was not only ready on time, they brought it out to my car!!! They really brought the flavor to the party!”

“Overall great location and delicious pizza if you order the ordinary. Knocked off a star because they struggle with custom orders. My son loves extra sauce but he doesn’t like lots of cheese. After 3 times ordering extra sauce different times over different months, we gave up. They always read it as extra cheese. I suppose that may be a hack if you like your pizzas cheesy without an upcharge.”

“I live on a rural reservation and had a taste for a tortas and found this to be the only place nearby; in Gallup, NM that had them on their menu, so Ihave them a try. I ordered the barbcoa torta and the same for the taco. I've had tortas that were overflowing with meat and toppings, and although this one wasn't, it was still delicious and it came with a side of fries. I also ordered a bowl is pozole to go, and it was absolutely delicious! I'll definitely be back.”

“Always great pizza, but a bit of a let down tonight. I ordered a half veggie and half double pepperoni and the good half, my side was lagging in the boast of double pepp, there were like 6 pepps max on 4 slices. Not cool.”

“Passing through town and stayed at a hotel. Went here for an early dinner around 5:00pm. The Monday special was Country Fried Steak, so I ordered it. The meal came with green (or pinto) beans, split pea soup (or salad), potatoes (your choice), and a roll to go with the HUGE flattened, breaded, and fried steak. The soup was served first and it was absolutely amazing. I had never before eaten split pea soup so I was worried about how it would be. Oh my goodness! Get some if it is available. The green beans were specially prepared, not just poured from a can and heated and were very good. I got mashed potatoes with (white) gravy and they were good. The steak was definitely something that I would recommend as it was perfectly cooked and very tasty. This was an awesome dining experience as I was solo and sat at the counter bar! Highly recommend stopping here for a meal.”

“It's been years since we had Avalon's. The food was good. Large servings. A little too much. Maybe offer a half size for half the price. $77 for 5 items. I'm glad I checked my items before I left because they didn't include the sweet & sour chicken. Luckily I was able to get it because they were closed. Thank you for that.”

“This is the best Chinese Food in Gallup. I order take out from here a couple of times a week. Food is always hot, fresh, authentic, and consistently delicious. The restaurant is always very clean - they ace their inspections every time. I like seeing this Restaurant just get better and more popular. You will not be disappointed.”

“So we decided to try something different and this was different. The chips and salsa was good, salsa was spicy. Ordered a side quacamole which was good. I had chicken soft tacos with rice and beans and was surprised they came smothered. My husband had a trio combo with a taco, enchilada and tamale, again with rice and beans. I had tea and he had a soda. I was offered a refill once but his drink was dry for a long time. The waitress was not very attentive but the food was surprisingly good.”
