“This is my favorite burger joint when in NM. It sure has changed. It looks like the blend of the meat and the size has changed. I like the previous patties better but the dressings stayed the same and I am so grateful for that. I always order my burger with extra lettuce and extra onions because it gives that satisfying crunch to the burger along with a kick of green chili. Their breakfast burritos are the bomb too and I was too hungry to take a pic. Enjoy!”

“The sign reads everything is 1.80. However, every item is 1.97. They offer 1, 2, 3 or 4 combination plates to go or for dine in. Extra large beverage is 2.30 while large is 1.79. Cup of water or ice is .55 cents. Friendly staff. Setting is quite dim inside. Food was fresh and hot upon arrival. I ordered the 3 combo and got rice which was yummy yummy, Lo mein also delightfully seasoned, and sweet and sour chicken. The sweet and sour chicken was already sauced and crunchy. I ordered egg roll which was super huge and doughy. Overall, I felt satisfied with my service and meal.”

“My sister enjoyed the Stuffed sopapilla it was well worth it the hamburger and fries were good as well, my son got a bean and meat burrito average sized with no sides for 14$ was pretty steep 🤨 For an average size burrito with sides I think that would make a good $14 but one burrito that could be bought for eight dollars for $14 🤔 other then the over pricing of food I think the El Sombrero special was delicious I enjoyed it. The chips and salsa were enjoyable that’s a plus 😊”

“We were looking for a place to stop with a trailer.. wasn’t sure based on the reviews but our grandkids wanted to eat at Panda Express.. so we gave it a try. There was parking for a 40ft trailer for easy in and out. The service was great.. everyone was very friendly. The food was good too. The restaurant was clean and did not disappoint! We will be back!”

“I ordered a lunch special and a few other things. It was for take out. I was told 20-25 minutes before it would be ready; no big deal. When I picked it up the food was ready and smelled wonderful! The cashier was very friendly and the individual by the front door was congenial and upbeat. I didn't think it was very expensive for what I got. I was surprised when I was told they never closed during the height of the pandemic. The food here is really good. They are NOT doing the buffet, you can only order from the menu and masks must be worn unless you are eating. I'll go back.”

“WOWOW!!! This place is one of a kind !, we were stranded in New Mexico and came here by chance , this is a family owned restaurant. The food here is delicious . The most amazing welcoming service we had a wonderful experience it was like no other we ever had . MR Carlos and his Daughter were at our service sweet kind and very welcoming people we ate some delicious food they have great tamales and everything is fresh and homemade they are located near an enterprise car rental place and they open at 7 am they have moth authentic Mexican food and American food choices as well for others and children. It’s such a great restaurant very clean and cozy coffee here is really the best . Thank you Mr Carlos for having us”

“A misunderstanding lead to the wrong pizza being cooked(deep dish instead of bowl pizza)...but they fixed it asap..and gave us a free salad and the oops pizza for free!! And it was fabulous...my son's meat pizza was cooked to perfection!! And my gourmet bowl pizza was absolutely delicious ..esp with the salad to do with it!!! “True 5-Star Experience: not only was the staff timely and attentive, they were kind. Portion sizes are perfect (very filling). We started with the complimentary bread and sweet fluffy butter. Ordered mozzarella sticks, bacon burger with bleu cheese and mild green chiles, burger (no cheese) with mild chiles, french fries, sweet potato fries, & seasonal veggie mix. The meals came with soup or salad, so we got both! Salad was full of healthy choices (kale, fresh lettuce, brussel sprouts, tomato, cucumber...). Tried a green chile filet mignon soup--wowza YUM! Burgers were cooked perfectly (the bleu cheese was awesome!!), fries were hot and tasty. And of course, a light yet dense chocolate cake to top it off. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing by. There is also a banquet room available. Thank you to JR, Desiree, and the other staff members.”

“Home cooking at its New Mexican Finest. Really nice staff, homey diner feel, and a pretty extensive New Mexican menu, with mix and match combos. The flour tortillas were made there, and they were fresh, fluffy, thick and pillowy soft, and really excellent with the Mexican-style broth and tomato based beef stew with big chunks of beef, potatoes, carrots, and lots of aromatics. My husband really enjoyed the beef fajitas and the plate has a delicious assortment of condiments to go with the fluffy tortillas and juicy beef. I *loved* the stew, it was super satisfying after a cold, dry long day hiking, and it really hit the spot, perfectly seasoned, and the broth was so soothing.”

“Drove past this nice restaurant and am very glad I decided to go in. One of the beet pizzas I’ve had in my life. The service was wonderful. The Chu Chu’s special pizza large was enough for four people and it was just me so the lemonade and pizza while enjoying the fabulous scenery was just a memorable experience. The restaurant owner drops by and makes friendly small talk. They have all the time on the planet and no one is in a hurry. Truly enjoyed it.”
