Ok so if you're looking to get away from every thing this up and coming park will meet your needs. Full hookups 30amp, water and sewer. Don't forget the Dam Restaurant and El Vado lake store available right in the park.

Excellent food, people, and service. It is great to have a restaurant and store with essentials in the area. They will have my business.

You will not be disappointed in the portions! The Friday night special of Fish and Chips arrived to the table with THREE huge, in-house battered cod, potatoes and slaw for $15. Marlo (El Vado Diner's chef) greeted us and brought our water, we didn't know he was the chef until we asked who prepared our yummy meal and our server told us. It is exciting to have a restaurant OPEN for dinner in northern New Mexico (Tierra Amarilla/Chama area) and judging from the number of customers on this visit, so are A LOT of people! Another customer told us they came in for lunch earlier in the week and the burrito was outstanding! Definitely looking forward to the next visit!
El Vado Diner is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, be SURE to check them out for a date, when company is in town or you're just hungry!
