A bit of a drive off the main highway but very worth it. The drive is Lovely, the food and service were wonderful. We will definitely go back!!! ❤

Had another AMAZING meal at the Dam Diner! I have been there many times and there is never a disappointment. A little out of the way and WELL worth the trip! This is Friday night date night!!

Hands down the best burger I’ve ever had. Ordered the Dam burger with roasted green chili and American cheese and it made my soul smile. Impossibly nice staff, this place is amazing.

Happy to find The Dam Diner! They are getting their feet under them and lots of plans for future additions!
You will not be disappointed in the portions! The first Friday night special experience of Fish and Chips arrived to the table with THREE huge, in-house battered cod, potatoes and slaw for $15. Marlo (The Diner's chef) greeted us and brought our water, we didn't know he was the chef until we asked who prepared our yummy meal and our server told us. It is exciting to have a restaurant OPEN for dinner in northern New Mexico (Tierra Amarilla/Chama area) and judging from the number of customers on this visit, so are A LOT of people! Another customer told us they came in for lunch earlier in the week and the burrito was outstanding! Second Friday night visit had a special of Prime Rib with garlic mashed potatoes! And the next Friday night visit they offered Chicken or Pork enchilada casserole.
And, yes, keep going back for more, you will, too!
The Dam Diner is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, be SURE to check them out for a date, when company is in town or you're just hungry!

Best open-faced chile burger I’ve had in many years. Very generous amount of chile, burger patty, and fries! Price’s are extremely reasonable. The two ladies on duty were very friendly and attentive. If you’re hungry, this is the place to eat!! Will go back every time we’re camping in Chama. Hoping it remains open. Y’all can help it survive by visiting and enjoying their delicious food.
