“The fried oysters are delicious!!! I loved the fresh flowers on all the tables. The lamb is the best I've had in a long time. We also had the Scallop linguini which was fantastic. Our server (her name started with P. I'm terrible with names) was wonderful. We had the bread pudding for dessert and it was amazing too.”

Red River Brewing Company & Distillery

Address: 217 W Main St, Red River, NM 87558, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“We really enjoyed our BBQ Brisket sandwiches. Raised in Texas & you can believe me when I say this BBQ was outstanding. The amount of food was great. Had enough for another meal that evening. Waiter recommended the Copper Chair Amber beer & it was spot on. We took an outside patio area to enjoy the outdoors. Large outside of family area on left side. Area was clean We will be back.”

The Grill at the Lift House

Address: 200 Pioneer Rd, Red River, NM 87558, USA

Restaurant

“We were at The Grill at the Lift House for food and drinks while taking a break from some great skiing. The burgers were very good. I had the Whiskey burger and could barely finish it. I believe it was about $13. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating as was the female bartender. The ONLY reason I did not give this place 5 stars is because of the rude and disrespectful bartender. I wish I remembered his name so I could properly complain to management. I also witnessed his rude behavior to another guest at the bar. In recent years we normally ski Colorado and decided to go back to Red River after about a ten year hiatus. I guess this guy doesn’t understand we have options.”

Capo's Corner

Address: 110 Pioneer Rd, Red River, NM 87558, USA

Restaurant

“The positives…. Our waitress was great! The cheesy, green chile garlic bread was really good! My husband liked the pizza. My daughter said it was better than dominoes pizza (which she hates for some reason) but she would have rather had a frozen pizza that she cooked herself. Waitress made a fresh batch of tea just for my husband as there was only maybe one glass of tea left when we ordered drinks. That was nice of her to do. Otherwise, I was going to just order water for my husband. My youngest said the chicken fettuccine was good. My oldest said the cheese ravioli was ok. The negatives… We were told it was a 20-25 minute wait but we waited over an hour. No apologies for the long wait. In fact when I checked in after 45 minutes I was treated like I was a bother. I had the spaghetti with meatballs. There was a lot of watery pasta, a little bit of sauce and two tiny meatballs. I’ve had better spaghetti and meatballs at Olive Garden for much cheaper, to be honest. Overall, the food was just ok. This was not our first time to eat here but over the years it’s consistently just been ok food. I like to support local businesses and don’t like to give negative reviews but this place is just not for us.”

The Pit Stop & Go Kart City

Address: 317 W Main St, Red River, NM 87558, USA

Restaurant

“Great breakfast burritos! Thank you for putting in real green chili! Burritos were built very well, and never unraveled, every bite had the perfect amount of meat, cheese, hash browns, and green chilli...”

The Candy Crate and Candy Mountain Fudge

Address: 300 W Main St, Red River, NM 87558, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“Super cute shop in Red River. Lots of touristy things to look at, both "vintage" and modern. Fudge is delicious.”

Shotgun Willie's

Address: 403 W Main St, Red River, NM 87558, USA

Restaurant

“Super great place for local hamburgers and other great menu items. I had the chili and it was Texas style. When they said “chili,” they didn’t ask, “Red or Green.” Besides hamburgers and chili, they also had catfish. That is what my son ordered and he loved it. The place was crowded, but that was to be expected since we were there for the Red River Family Encampment… which means there were tons of people there as well. They had take-out if we wanted to take the food back to our condo… but since there were only two of us, we found a seat. Lucky us! You know this place has to be good when the local law enforcement frequent the place even though it was crowded. Great to meet the Red River Marshals.”

VINE + DINE

Address: 402 W Main St, Red River, NM 87558, USA

Restaurant

“Great FRESH food! Quickly prepared and served. Nice vibe. Upstairs. Don’t think there’s an elevator, if that matters.”

T Bucks Red River

Address: 601 W Main St, Red River, NM 87558, USA

Restaurant

“I’ll start this off by saving that the waitress I had was amazing. I wish I could remember her name, but she was extremely genuine, friendly, and helpful. Also, the prices are amazing. Me and everyone else at my table enjoyed the food and left with a very full stomach. Thank you so much for the wonderful breakfast experience, and I would definitely eat there again if I come back to Red Rivers :))”

Yesterday's Diner

Address: 612 W Main St, Red River, NM 87558, USA

Restaurant

“What a gem! This Diner gets Props for Food AND Ambiance. They offer breakfast until 11am and then have a nice offering for entrees, sandwiches and burgers. Don't forget the dessert. Currently, you pick your table then go to the counter to order. They deliver to your table. Outdoor patio with views galore or cute vintage diner vibe inside. I had the Daisy and Daffy (?) Egg breakfast and my guy tried breakfast enchiladas. Delicious! We highly recommend this place and will be back.”

My Tia's Café

Address: 107 NM-378, Cerro, NM 87519, USA

Restaurant

“Tia’s Cafe is a gem in Cerro right on the way to the Wild River’s area of the Rio Grand del Norte National Monument. They serve delicious Northern New Mexican food (especially the stuffed sopapilla). We started with warm, thick chips with salsa. Then we enjoyed the Stuffed Sopapilla (first photo) and Combination Plate with Tamale (second photo)…both were the epitome of satisfying comfort food. We finished our meal off with a warm sopapilla with honey butter. Our server was very friendly and attentive. It was an amazing meal and we highly recommend Tia’s for a taste of authentic Northern New Mexico home cooking.”

“YUM! The bagel was freshly made. The veggies were crisp, and the latte was delicious.”
