“I give this place 5 stars. We loved it! Our waiter couldn't have better. The meal we got was amazing. The best I've had. The atmosphere is really unique because it used to be a barn! I would go there all the time if we didn't live 2 hours away. .”

“Had Dina’s vegetable soup tonight, the most amazing vegetable soup I’ve ever had! It’s difficult to make this soup truly exceptional but Dina’s chef did it. Fresh vegetables, excellent broth, just outstanding! There are so many good things on the menu and of course the restaurant itself is an awesome experience but don’t miss this soup.”

“We love this place. We started visiting The Gin Mill in its original location years ago. A friendly place that felt like your neighborhood bar. Great food with the best fried bologna sandwich. Not a fussy place, but warm and welcoming. They have recently relocated just one block over and increased their space. A bit fancier but as warm and welcoming as every. And the fried bologna sandwich is still available!”

“Great service, lively music in the front, decent patio in the back. Loved the metal work and old timey signs. The food? Really, really mediocre. Some people prefer ambiance and attention, some prefer food. Our brisket was way too sugary and was cut in a strange way. The vegan soup was .... not good. Overall, would probably only return to rock out and drink up. Food is not their strength.”

“We stopped at Cupcaked on our way through Ellicottville this morning. This was our first visit at the little upscale bakery, and we loved the whole experience. The shop was super classy and we got some delicious samples. Settled on the blueberry-lemon and orange-cranberry scones. They were delicious... our six-year old daughter literally asked "How do they make them so good?"”

“I love good beer and I love dogs. This place has/allows both. Great outdoor seating area. The beer is excellent. There is a beer for everyone. I can’t stand places that offer 17 varieties of IPA and maybe have a Hefeweizen. This is not one of those places. Great for a hop head and great for someone looking for a light beer. The food is decent. It’s a little pricey but, when you’re the only game in town, I suppose you can charge those prices.”

“Very convenient location and the prices are better than expected for the proximity to the hill. Food was all good and the server was very attentive. We didn't feel like we were nickel and dimed on the bill. Our only complaint is it was a long wait for the food and the bill (1.5 hours from arrival to departure).”

“My wife had her parents anniversary party there. Nice little tap room. They had a decent election of local brews. The party food was good/buffet style, so I can't speak to their usual food and service. Plenty of space, and the band was pretty good.”

“We had a large party without a reservation or notice. They sat us immediately without hesitation. The waitress was quick and efficient. The food came out timely, as ordered, hot and the portion sizes were more than adequate. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They have a beer and wine license, I'd like to see them as a liquor license. Great job!!!”

“The quality of the food here blew me away. I didn't expect it from the quaint and mellow vibe I got when walking in the door. The wait staff were also amazing! Our hostess and waitress were so sweet and helped to point out some of their favorite dishes, that did not disappoint. We had scallops over potato pancakes for an appetizer which was awesome! Will definitely make a trip back to Chanderson's!”

“Getting way too pricey. We ordered 3 large pizzas (which are the same size now as what a medium would have been 10 years ago), 15 breadsticks, and two 2 liter sodas...total was just about $80! Too rich for my blood especially just for a pizza restaurant. Service was quick and polite.”
