The food was mediocre, dripping with excessive sauce but a good hot temperatureat first. The curly fries got cold very fast and jalapeno poppers were mild with little flavor. For a mundane meal with excessive napkin use, this is an "okay" place to stop in. I may try it again.”

“The interior was very relaxed and inviting with some unique cityscape cutout features on the walls. Very extensive menu selection for both food and drink items. It was hard to decide. Food was tasty and unique drink choices were very satisfying. Something for everyone.The House Rice side dish is something I could eat again and again and their Southwest Grilled Chicken was a very generous serving. It was juicy and delicious.. Our server, Mary was very kind and attentive. I wish I could rate 4.5 stars as the only complaint we had was that some of the decor was a bit dusty. If you are in the area, it is definitely worth the very short distance from the interstate.”

The loaded fries were so delicious and very generously portioned. THE ICECREAM THO!!!! Wow! So gigantic and seriously delicious!!!! The patio seating was amazing with all the homegrown veggies and flowers and great music! Truly a gem to the town of Dunkirk! Everyone should stop here for wonderful food and great atmosphere!”

“The food is a lot more impressive than I was expecting. Don't let the novelty name fool you. The ambiance and decor are nice, they had the large rolling door open when we went which helped to open up the space and bring the outside in. The kitchen closes surprisingly early on a Saturday night but that is probably just me not being used to a small town. Parking was easy and it wasn't too loud or anything. There's a really nice modern feel to it.”

“Our first visit to Fifties Grill & Dairy and we found it to be good but it was missing key fifties era items. No juke box or table top music selection gadgets like we remember from the fifties. The place is spotless and adored with perfect colors of the fifties. Red, white and lots of chrome, nice touch. The service counter people attentive, polite and professional. Our order was ready in minutes although we took a table for our food was bagged for take out. The food was good quality and enjoyed by all. As a passing through town customer I would say give it a try and enjoy!”

We had just about everything in the menu between us. The kids loved the home fries, my husband raved about the beef hash, and I loved the "Cindy" pancake. The service was great.”
