    Martindale Chief Diner is one of the best diners in the Hudson Valley area! Very friendly staff and an excellent menu

    The diner has the nostalgia of a black and white movie. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed a to go meal before we jumped on the Taconic and they had what we needed. We called when we were just a few miles away and they had our food ready in under 10 minutes.

    Nice diner and good service. Food is good and plenty. I stop there whenever I am traveling upstate.

    Proper diner! Massive menu, clean seats and tables... It's a classic layout of a diner with the booths and swivel chairs at the counter. Good stop off on the way up to Vermont from NYC.
