We had an awesome time at Vanderbilt. The salmon and Mahi Mahi was perfect and the innkeepers were so hospitable. Definitely 5 stars
I visited my friends in Philmont for a weekend (Mom-cation). My friends recommended The Vanderbilt so I looked into it and it was exactly what I needed! Now there are no tv’s in the room and honestly, I was perfectly fine with it! I was greeted by a most gracious host, Henrietta, she was such a delight! The house it self has so much history and I highly recommend this hotel.
Our family enjoyed Sunday (easter) brunch. Menu was full of great options. All delicious. Drinks were equally delicious. Service was great as well. Overall a great experience, can't wait to come back again and again.
Came with a group of friends and spent an evening drinking wine, playing shuffleboard and hanging out around a bonfire outside. For dinner we ate off a special Valentines Day menu designed by Matt and Henrietta, the owners. As an overnight guest, the rooms and living areas are both beautiful and cozy with plants, art, antique furniture and random surprises (tarot cards, snack drawers, Egyptian bookends). Whether you’re just coming for drinks, food or to stay a while, the whole place is atmospheric, inviting and unique.
Stayed for one night in January to celebrate my anniversary. We found the space to be very stylish and well appointed. The bed was comfy, but low to the floor the room we stayed in (#1). Fine for us but maybe not for the elderly. The manager assured me other rooms have higher beds. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed our meal. Breakfast was lovely too. Service was attentive. Looking forward to returning when it’s warmer to enjoy dining outside and relaxing by the fire. A great value in the Hudson area....much better than an Airbnb.
