Hung Far

Normally the food is ok but yesterday's was tasteless and incomplete. The people are nice. The place needs updating. The menu on the wall is very faded. You can't tell what you are getting from those pictures.

Its a good chinese american restaurant. your typical chineese place to eat. you cant go wrong

Ok I have tried most of the local places in Hyde Park for Chinese take out and while they've all been good so far, this place was by far a standout. And it's super convenient to those of us off of 9G who have far fewer options for good take out or delivery than our friends along or off of Route 9. The staff took my order over the phone quickly. I left my house which is about ten minutes away and when I got there the order was hot and ready. The portion size was almost bursting the takeout boxes by their seams and the contents did not disappoint. I had the broccoli and beef and there was a good mix of the two, not more veg than meat which other places I've been to have done in Red Hook and Rhinebeck. No frills and a few tables, this place is made for takeout. Grabbed a paper menu on my way out because they don't have a real web presence and was happy to see all of the future options I have for ordering. And definitely a good value. Reasonable prices for pretty good Chinese in the area. Will definitely be ordering from here again. My only wish is that they delivered but that's a pipe dream for this part of the Hudson Valley!
