Red Pepper Chinese and Vietnamese Cuisine

Great lunch specials! Delicious, inexpensive, and you certainly don't walk away hungry.

Not sure why they are no longer serving Vietnamese food though. I forgot to ask.

Orange Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice, Steamed Dumplings were all excellent as usual. There was a sign up that said Vietnamese dishes were currently unavailable. The waiter advised that we could still get Vietnamese Egg Rolls, but none of the more complex dishes like Pho. The only part of the meal that was a bit off was the Vietnamese Egg Rolls, they were cooked as usual, but the filling was different than usual. Usually this is a 5 star place, this time 4 stars.

I only gave 3 stars because while the food seems of good quality and a generous portion size it is very bland in flavor. I was glad that I ordered dumplings because I had to add some of the dumpling sauce to the rest of my food just so that it had flavor. They also have a sign up that they are no longer serving Vietnamese food and lastly the place really needs a good cleaning.

Red pepper is excellent. Unrivaled service and speed. There food is also really tasty! Would recommend over most other Chinese places in Buffalo. Can't speak to how good their Vietnamese food, but the Chinese is great!
