“A wonderful place to dine at, especially for lunch. You come inside and choose your own seat. Once seated you are greeted by the waitress/waiter. Using a eraseable marker you place your order on menus that are laminated. My wife ordered a salad (huge) with chicken and other options that she picked from the create your own menu.(see pic) She couldn't find the balsamic vinaigrette option and the waitress was nice enough to tell her that they call it basil vinaigrette. The salad was very good and the portions, was enough to share or even take home to finish off. I ordered the ham sandwich with a glass of Riesling. Everything I picked to go on my sandwich was fresh and tasty especially the bread. I like how it came with a side salad or you can choose soup. Definitely worth the visit, and most importantly worth the price we paid for lunch.”

“Never Disappointed - always delicious Beef on Weck! A Buffalo NY institution nearby the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport. 2 years ago I was there for a late lunch around 2:30-3pm. The cashier was getting a lot of take out calls. I asked why now when lunch was 2.5 hours ago. She said it's the afternoon rush when the flights land. Crews and passengers start calling once they arrive, and have their orders ready for pickup. That's amazing! And yes, there is a real Charlie the Butcher.”

“Excellent food. Very good bar. Nice wine list. The hostesses and waitstaff are all young and good looking but are not that great in terms of service. We had to ask to be seated at our reserved table since hostess was busy with friends. We had to ask waiter for silverware, water, water refills, dessert, the bill and a dozen things in between. Just lots of inexperienced staff who were busy being attractive but didn't know their jobs.”

“I am from Texas visiting Buffalo for work. This was my first time coming to Joe's Deli and it was an amazing experience. When I walked in the manager Todd was up front and greeted my colleague and I. I proceeded to explain to Todd I had just recently got over a stomach bug and before I could finish he knew exactly where I was going with this. He said if you're looking for something lite, I would recommend our chicken noodle soup. Loved the idea and asked about a sandwich as well. He then recommended the Lucy so I ordered both and they were so dam good! Todd and the rest of the staff very kind and came by to check on us, every offering To-Go containers. I will be coming here for lunch every day I am here until I go back home to Texas!”
