“We went with apprehensions given the current rating. However, in my experience it turned out to be one of the best casual dining places for Indian food in this neighborhood of Buffalo. The food tastes great with simple satisfying flavors. Everything is priced so reasonable. We ordered 4-5 varied dishes from the menu, and surprisingly everything tasted very well. We also got more stuff packed to go for our long road trip ahead. This will be my go-to place if and when I visit Buffalo again.”

“From the second I walked through the door I was greeted with great customer service. All the employees were super friendly. I love that the meats are freshly sliced right in front of you. I got the #13 Original Italian and it was excellent. A little pricey but everything is fresh and you get a good amount of meat, and it is definitely worth it. “Hard to find, in one of the new apartments buildings with the businesses on the first floor. The establishment was very clean. Though I got my order to go, there was ample seating at the bar, with 2-3 tables. They have no shortage of standing room. The menu is very confusing (this is where they lose a star) but the staff was very helpful. I ordered a shake, which came with a complimentary tea with metabolism booster. Both beverages were delicious, but immediately after drinking the shake I was nauseous. Over the next 3 days my nausea continued with abdominal pain. I’m not sure if it was due to an ingredient in the shake disagreeing with my body or a bug I got from somewhere else. I likely won’t be back, mostly because of the confusing overwhelming menu and location (I was passing through town, I don’t live nearby).”

“We went there for the car wash and they were a ton of people there, but It was extremely fast. The vehicle looks beautiful. And we had an amazing gentleman who hand dried off the vehicle. I definitely will go back next time I'm out in the city. They also have a area to change oil, the main store has a pizza place inside of it along with the regular corner store items, it's also a gas station as well. Truly a one-stop shop.”

“I have visited this place quite a few times and the experience is always great. Service is superb and foods are always delicious and fresh. The Bun Bo Hue (Spicy lemongrass beef noodle soup) is perhaps one of the best in Buffalo that I’ve tasted so far. Don’t get deceived by the bowls/dishes because they’re sure big potions. The crispy pork here is another highlight that you should try. The skin is very crispy and they have a good ratio between meat and fat, not just a slab of fat like you would find at the other Chinese places. The inside vibe is also very different from the look outside. It’s clean, bright, and modern. Before this store, I’ve known Anchi through their dessert expertise with all kinds of snacks and bakeries that you can’t easily get in the Buffalo area. They have a website that offers delivery as well, and you can also book your themed birthday/party fruit cakes that are light and healthy. If you’re Vietnamese, then you would probably know the salted egg sponge cake, pork floss bread roll, and the garlic cheese bread that have been the Asian snack hype for the past few years (although the pork floss roll is more of a childhood delicacy). I’m happy that they now have a nearby store so I can visit whenever I want now. This will definitely be a regular place for me from now on.”

“A quaint little restaurant on the corner next to the gas station. You’d never know how amazing the food is here if you didn’t pop in for a quick bite. We definitely took our time enjoying the deliciously cooked food here and they were very friendly with quick service. I’d like to point out the authenticity and the Taiwanese style based cooking they use (in some dishes) which is something I always look out for. Its similar to my grandparents cooking which is in my book very high praise! It’s really hard to find food cooked this well and it didn’t feel too heavy or oily. I’ve been here a few times and the consistency has never changed nor disappointed me. This is one of my top picks for local Chinese/Taiwanese style cooked food.”
