“I understand that they are usually busy, but these are things that should be just avoided not over looked. I ordered a meal and didn't get the hashbrown. The timbits were already pre-packaged and quite honestly stale. I feel like I paid around 14 bucks for 2 coffees and a wrap today, the 20 pack timbits were dog chow and no hashbrown. I was being told to have a good day even before I got the coffees. On top of all that no receipt is offered. Believe me though, I have met the owner of this location and he is a great person, I hope his staff gets it together.”

“Nice pub atmosphere in a heavily remodeled older building with lots of character. Tons of parking off-street in lot next door. Rotating cast of local & national drafts on tap plus ample bottled selection. Wide top-shelf liquor range. Prices reasonable for the type of place and location. Menu is large and runs the gamut from appetizers and snacks to sandwiches, burgers and entrees. Soups and salads also available. Food ordered was cooked exactly to request and served nicely plated. Entrees were both excellent (grilled apple pork chops & chicken Alfredo) while the Schweis Burger, cooked medium rare with perfectly runny fried egg, was killer. Service was efficient, friendly and attentive. Great casual dining and relaxing here. Good atmosphere, food and location.”

New owners clearly are only about making money and constantly raising the prices. It's a shame because it use to be a great place to go and my regular place to go. “So it starts out, we dined in an old historic building. Really cool place with a cool setting. Our server Tara was on her game. Great service and super friendly. Our food came and it was fantastic. There was four of us in our party. Seeing it was our first time, we tried an assortment of foods. Every thing was fantastic. We will be back soon. I highly recommended the beef brisket. It is the most tender brisket I've ever had.”

“Appetizers outstanding - stuffed mushrooms to share, plus the best French onion soup this side of French onion. 4 people, 3 different dinners - 2 prime rib, 1 New York strip and I've order of ribs. Every dinner cooked perfectly! Waitress was terrific, she even engaged in some satire. Great pricing also.”
