“Very cool new spot on Niagara Street. We were finally able to stop in and check it out. First of all the renovation is gorgeous. Very modern, lots of space and just beautiful. They did a great job on the old resurgence space. Twin Petrels makes their own craft hard seltzers which is new for our area. You can purchase them to drink on their own, they are on tap, and there are also seltzer cocktails and regular cocktails and mock tails. There is also a light food menu which we did not try this time. We had a few seltzers and seltzer cocktails. All the drinks we tried were very good and the cocktails were made with high quality ingredients. They are in the process of figuring out how to get their seltzers canned to have the option to buy them and enjoy them at home. We are excited to see this new concept come to Buffalo. Make sure you go and check them out.”

“Wanted to check out this new restaurant with my friend and since he was from Nashville we both decide to get the hot chicken sandwich ($14). I really enjoyed it and got it with the standard side of Tavern chips with your house-made. he got he is with the Tavern fries for a $2 upcharge. Having never tried it authentic Nashville hot chicken, I had no frame of reference so I really enjoy it. Had a bit of a kick to it, but the added coleslaw threw off the flavor profile a little bit for me. My friend felt that it was a "very good" chicken sandwich but didn’t quite take him back to his days in Nashville. He also got a side of mac & cheese which he really enjoyed. We both got a house cocktail (both were $10 each) as our drink of choice for the evening. I got the Papa's Peach, which was a tequila-based cocktail and my buddy had the Boulevardier. both were well-made. The overall atmosphere was not quite upscale and it felt a place I'd take my mom to, go out with friends for good meal, or possibly take an interview candidate to for lunch.”

“Been to this place twice now. The first time there was a hiccup in the communication over the phone so the pizza in the photo is from the second visit. I would say they have some of the best crust and pizza sauce that I have tried in Buffalo so far just a little inconsistent with the bake time. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good place for a date night with a great vibe. “We came for the all you can eat lunch, and were very happy with the meal! In order to try as much as we could, we got things to split (your whole table has to get the all you can eat deal, so this isn't a big problem), and this got to try almost all of the special rolls. As they charge you extra if you leave food unfinished at the end of your meal, we came in a little worried, but the sushi, rolls, and appetizers were all reasonably sized and that wasn't a problem. However, as everything is made to order, be prepared to sit and enjoy the company of your table-mates, especially for the rolls that require deep-frying as a component, as they take a little longer. I certainly think that we got a good value, and the Volcano and Crazy Monkey rolls were awesome surprises. The staff were all very pleasant, helpful, and fast, helping to make for an enjoyable experience. 👍”

“I don't know why this location has terrible reviews. I think this is the first revi have ever done. I was looking to see if it was open because it is only 1030am and I am craving Rachel's. The staff have always been pleasant. Sometimes they are overwhelmed but not in a rude way. Gloves are always changed. Food is always fresh.
