Maggie's on the River

8/10 -Philly cheese steak actually needs some provolone in it....come on chefs psy attention to the simple details in making a great sandwich. Daughters comment was "it's not that hard, it's just cheese!" Blues burger was good but needs purple onion, lettuce, and thinly sliced tomato to knock it out of the park. Beer was cold - Thank You!

Had an opportunity first time ever to enter this restaurant as an Uber Eats Driver for 2 pick ups and the smell of the food is just amazing. I'm sure they taste great as well. I love the beautiful dining balcony by the river that I only had seen in television for years. Glad to get to with my own eyes and hope the taste their food one day. ^^

Cool restaurant, nice atmosphere, nice river views. Service was good, food was fantastic. Live show they had going on upstairs was a bit loud, so you might want to check their website if that kind of thing bothers or intrigues you. Excellent selection of adult beverages. They have a couple areas suitable for larger groups. Everyone in our group seemed to enjoy the meal and the whole dining experience. Will definitely be back on my next trip to Watertown.

We had our wedding catered by Maggie's On The River! We had a burger bar at Wellesley Island State Park.
The communication before the wedding was difficult. E-mails were sparse and far between - and the week before the wedding we found out the lady handling our wedding was gone and no one had informed us. After several stressed phone calls, we finally got confirmation for our wedding. They did apologize for the inconvenience and give us a discount.
At the actual wedding, they were PERFECT! Our wedding ended up ahead of schedule, and they quickly set up the buffet early so that we could move forward with eating! When guests were taking more than expected the food ran out momentarily (not their fault, it was our guests taking two or three burgers), however they quickly set out more food! I did not even hear of the issue until after our wedding. They were nice, professional and very obliging! We were very happy.
