I met my friend here just last week. I was like, "Where are the tacos?" He answers, "Out back." Walking into the back courtyard was a pleasant surprise, then you see the taco truck, nice. The menu is simple and very tasty. I had a shrimp taco, a chorizo taco and an elote. I was very happy with the food. Ingredients are fresh and the food is very tasty, yum!
Pretty good veggie tacos, I only with they were big. You have to go through union hall to get to the taco truck. They make the food right there. Cash only. One of the better tasting tacos I've had in NYC.
The truck is in the backyard of a bar filled to the brim with young'uns bouncing and swaying to music. Getting the taco into your hand requires patience on a lively weekend night. It was a winding journey through the dense, albeit nice crowd, to arrive outside and slither off to the opposite corner to find a spot in the line. Two guys manning the truck; one cook, one cashier.
Delicious street style food, inclusive of the guy handling money also handling food without gloves! Oh myyy
Easy to get a taxi from the swarm waiting outside the door so if you're one of the patrons who can't handle alcohol intake fear not you won't have to stumble far.
Very cool taco van inside El Diablo bar.
Awesome quesadillas and tacos. Chorizo and shrimp were very tasty. Spicy but not excessively, and cooked with a moderate amount of garlic which, to me, is perfect. I'm not on a date though.
