“Pretty good DD. Best for pedestrians and for an early grab. Parking is NOT easy on weekdays or midday weekends. Their donuts are above average for DD. Service is friendly but a bit slow.”

“Good basic bistro brunch, with quality ingredients. Medium size servings. Have been a few times for brunch. So can't speak for other times. Reasonably busy, but never been a long wait. Heathy comfort food with comfort decor. Can be a little loud at times.”

“I've never been a big fan of German or Austrian food but this place was surprisingly good. The portions are big, there is a nice choice of sides and they have a good selection of wursts.”

“A great cafe in the heart of Park Slope. The coffee and food is amazing. I highly recommend getting the breakfast sandwich on a bagel, but you can't go wrong with any of their options. For lunch I recommend their grilled cheese or burritos. They also have amazing pasteries as well. And if you are vegan they have pleanty of options as well.”

“This was a good find. Tucked away on the street and we almost missed it. The service was very slow but the food was delicious. They have a large menu and it has something for everyone. The prices were very reasonable. If your not in a rush I recommend this place to try for breakfast or lunch.”

“The place is a little cramped, but the bagels are very good. Not too sweet and doughy like a lot of other places. Also, they don't automatically toast them for you, which is great since they are fresh and don't really need to be toasted. They also have a pretty good selection of spreads, including Tofu spreads.”

“Good coffee and doughnuts but their once-fine sandwich options are dwindling in variety.”

“This is one of the smaller stores so they don't have a large selection, especially later in the day. They have a decent amount of seating and the staff is generally friendly. Be aware that there is a high school next door and when school gets out for the day the place is flooded with teenagers.”

“For months I’ve been trying to get to the Pickel Shack! Today, I finally arrived and man, oh woman alive! The vegan burger was amazing! The pickles onions divine! I can’t wait to return next Monday. I’m going to keep going until I’ve tried everything on the menu. Amazing food and the friendliest people! Thank you for making this vegan happy!”

“Still missing the thanksgiving dinner sandwich since November-think that needs to be a year-round offering. But I’ve been getting the burgers and some pasta offerings of late, and they’re pretty amazing- a nice change of pace from the low-quality stuff at fast casual places. The girls make a pretty good cappuccino too (with a little added cbd!).”

“I love this place! It's the only local bar, that possesses a great atmosphere in the neighborhood. As a woman, I feel really comfortable going alone to grab a drink or a beer. Some, may argue and say that the drinks are expensive, but hey it's NY. I have never been disappointed with the food, as well, the food is always amazing.”

“Everything you can ask for. The food is like any MacDonald's except served better (crispy and perfectly salty fries, larger pieces of chicken, better toys)there's a place for children to play so they don't annoy you while you are ordering. There's a free bathroom too, so you don't have to use those unreliable tokens or passwords. The staff are nice too. Best McDonald's place ever.”

“Excellent! This is a cooking school fashioned as a urban restaurant. All the food is made fresh on the premises. The Cucumber Lemonade needs no sugar. It is perfect as is. The food is amazing with it's own originality. I had grits, scrambled eggs and turkey sausage and Cucumber Lemonade under $10. I have already invited friends to join me on a special group outing to eat here. The price is surprisingly affordable. What a special treat to have a quality eatery in the Brownsville community. Yes, I would conduct tiny meetings here. Yes, it is spacious and transparent. Yes, the sever is experienced with customer quality assurance. Yes, highly visible from the street. Yes, accessibility-friendly. I praise this resturant business school for being a service-to-others business model. Thank you.”

“The customer service was nice and the food including the ingredients on the burgers were fresh and tasty. My only critique is the bread is not as afresh so I would suggest working on the freshness of the bread. Other than that the place is clean and we were happy with our experience.”
