“I was supposed to take a picture of my food but I am going to be honest. The food beckoned me so much that I could not even stop. I just had to dive right in and I did not stop until the last bite was gone. It was just that good. I had pumpkin, potatoes, carrots, and okra with brown stew fish. It was like having a home-cooked meal. My mother would've said taste like she made it and she would be correct. They make the food just the way you like it and their customer service makes you feel like you're with old friends. And what's more this gem of a restaurant is right in our backyard. “I was actually walking by on my way to get seafood, but I was drawn to Maritha’s Kitchen 2 when I looked in the window. The restaurant is clean and inviting. Everything was fresh and looked so tantalizing, that I had a hard time choosing what to get, so I got the roast pork and rotisserie chicken dinners. The roast pork was cooked to perfection! It was tender, garlicky and delicious with the yellow rice and pinto beans. I will definitely be back the next time I have a taste for Spanish food! 😋😋”

“This is a nice spot to hang out with friends. The music was good and so was the food and drinks. My favorite drink was the Gems Rum Punch and the food, which I had the Guava wings with a side of Plantains and my friends had the burgers, which they mentioned were delicious. The customer service was also good. I give it 5 stars, because I had a great experience. Overall a great spot to have in the neighborhood and I can see me and my friends stopping by again and also spreading the word about this spot. Got to give support to our local businesses, right!”

“Attracted to this location because of the smoker smelling up the entire block sitting outside the location - jerk chicken juicy and flavorful sauce is spicy or mild, delicious Real macaroni and cheese no macaroni pie. Hot bar with a variety of different options like oxtail and curry chicken and curry goat and more which are delicious as well. I eat here maybe twice a week.”
