The prices were too high. Wouldn't put too much stock in a holiday experience. The locals seem to love this place for special occasions; it came highly recommended.”

“My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a whim, while driving home from Canada. The place was crowded, but the service was very quick! I had a Patty Melt and my wife, a chicken sandwich. We had the “dinner for two” deal and it was under $60 for both of us to have soup, salad, prime rib, sides, and a dessert for each of us as well! You can’t beat it! The seafood bisque was delicious and creamy, and the prime rib was the best I’ve ever had. I tried the peanut butter chocolate cake for dessert and it was heavenly. It’s rare to have a meal where you enjoy every piece of it equally, but the National Hotel did not disappoint. From start to finish everything was delicious and fresh. We can’t wait to go back!”

“Great brewery! They had a great outdoor patio area for sitting outside and relaxing with a good beer. The beer was great and they hosted our bus of 45 people no problem. The menu has several lasagnas and a variety of other pasta entrees and salads. Make sure you try the anchovy Caesar salad dressing. I know, weird to highlight something like a salad dressing but it is amazing. Perfect place for a long, leisurely dinner. This is not the place for you if you want a quick meal and you are definitely rolling the dice if you drop in - even during the week. Do yourself a big favor and make a reservation.
