“Saw the pictures online of the food and read the menu so the girlfriend and I decided to go for dinner on a Friday night around 6. Bar was half full and a few people eating. Only two staff on duty handling the bar, dining room and hostess so service was slow as more people came in. The food we got wasn't even close to what we saw in pictures online. We ordered two appetizers pretzel bits and Clutch Tots. Pretzels were good, the tots not so. Tots were undercooked and got soggy quickly with the beer cheese that was on them. And it was Hormel Real bacon bits on them, not real bacon. And where was the sour cream and scallions? Our entrees, butcher burrito and prime rib hoogie were dry. The meats seemed like they had been warmed up several times. And the ratio of meats to Mac & Cheese in the burrito was too heavy on Mac&Cheese. It also needed something else in it.”

“Got two sampler platters for the BBQ. We were able to try the Garlic Parm. and white BBQ which has a horseradish taste. They were both good. I'm going to have to go back to get their normal BBQ sauce and try that. Their wings were nice and crispy, the ribs were the same, and the pulled pork was tender, though in the small portions they were a bit dry but nothing you would even notice with the sauce on them. The best part is these guys are like a closer Sticky Lips at much better prices. I'll be back very soon.”

“I was there with some friends to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived the hostess had no record of our reservation. Fortunately they were able to accommodate us. I ordered the 10 oz sirloin rare. Now anyone who likes their steak rare pretty much can tell by touch if it's rare or not. On cutting into it I saw hardly any pink and sent it back with the waitress. She brought it back out saying the chef or rather cook said it was rare. I just couldn't tell because the light wasn't as good as it was in the kitchen! Another friend ordered the same steak medium rare but when hers was cooked incorrectly she got a perfectly redone steak. Another ordered the fish fry which looked wonderful but was underdone. The shrimp scampi of another diner was deemed delicious, as were the french fries, and our server, Taylor, was wonderful. Since it appears they can do some things right I would go back, perhaps for lunch and hope there was someone else cooking.”
