“I've been looking forward to trying this restaurant ever since I learned that Amsterdam was finally getting a place for Indian food. The owner could not have been more gracious and helpful; the staff were trying to get with the program, but you could tell this was all new to them. The owner's patience with them scored big points with me. The food was very good; flavorful and not too spicy. However, I believe that more heat can be added on request. The vegetable curry was especially good. The samosas were a bit thick and chewy, but the filling was good. They may have been better immediately after cooking. I think items like that suffer from being cooked too far ahead. As to be expected in a new business, there were some bumps in the road, but we left happy and satisfied with our meals. The owner was also happy to receive feedback about the food and concept. We wish him all the best, and we'll be back.”

“Was on a long bike ride that took me over the Gateway Bridge. Was pleasantly surprised to see a new place to pick up a bite to eat. Because of the place's novelty and being a late Saturday morning, the place was full and was a line. Was able to use the bathroom for free. The food hit the spot to re-energize. Was able to take food to a nearby bench overlooking the river. The only recommendation I would make is that a bike rack would be nice. The restaurant is not too far off a popular bike trail and has potential to be a stop for those who are bike touring.”

“This place is quite amazing! Who knew such a castle existed in Amsterdam New York?!? The family suites on the first floor are pretty big and amazing lots of room lots of bedrooms bathrooms. The rooms on the second floor are big and spacious very clean. The staff is very kind and helpful and they greet you at the front desk with kindness. The hotel restaurant is still not open yet but they hope it to be open soon.”

“Was really good but they closed and reopened under new owners I think and it isn't so great anymore. Service was good but the food was not. My sandwich was a bit overdone and the side of bacon they brought out was the smallest side of sad bacon I've ever seen. The coffee was really meh. Since it is a 30 minute drive here we probably won't be going out of our way to go back anytime soon.”
