Bracco's Clam Bar

A fun place to drink and dance, but they really need to update and upgrade their menu. Like, desperately.

First time ever, had an awesome time. As you can see by one of the pictures, the meal was great inside. After the meal went to the outside bar, had a couple of drinks. The dance floor was packed..... awesome night. Will remember this place for next trip out here.

I almost passed this place up because of the yelp reviews, but the restaurant was busy and the ambiance was cool. I'm so glad I didn't listen to yelp! Everything was so fresh and tasty. The oysters were perfectly chilled and so fresh and the baked clams were so tasty! The service was friendly and good. I would definitely eat here again if I'm ever in LI.

The service is excellent. The atmosphere stupendous. They have live bands and a large menu. The only drawback is that they didn't serve blue claw crabs. But I suppose if I want them badly enough I could go down the street to two cousins to buy some and make them myself at home! They're a little pricey but I suppose since they are a seasonal business they have to make up for the winter months where they're not making much money. The quality of the food is very good.
