“I really love the guy working here, the idea of the business is awesome and HMD has great social media, but it just doesn’t work for me right now. The servings are a little small, but acceptable. The choices are awesome. The ingredients don’t always seem to match up with the healthy goals I expected from the name of the company, BUT the macros are alright so that was not a big issue to me. My main issue: The food is pretty good for the first day or two, but after that the quality goes down pretty fast. By the end of the week, I’m forcing it down my mouth and threw out the last meal. They were not past expiration so they were still safe to eat, it was just unpleasant. I could buy daily, but that’s a significant premium over their “bulk” offerings. At that point it’s almost the same price for me to just eat out daily. If there was ever an option like: purchase meals at the same price point as a bulk order, BUT pick up 2 fresh meals daily instead of picking up 15-28 at once, I’d 100% be into that. Overall a solid 3/5 stars with room to improve. I’d like better quality of ingredients and I’d like to see an ordering system like I suggested above because the food quality degrades faster than I can be satisfied with.”

We highly recommend anything with the Al Pastor. We placed all our orders online and the food is ready pretty quickly (about 15 min). “The food at this establishment is delicious. I had the chicken burrito, the burrito wrap itself was so soft and fresh I would not be surprised if it is freshly made. It’s not hard or slightly stiff as you might get at most other establishment. The churros were mouth watering good! How could I forget to mention the corn!! Oh my god it’s exactly as the corn you get at streets fairs. It’s a must. You have to try it. And kindly during this pandemic please tip, tip and tip. Small business like these depend on every bit to stay open. And you would want this place to stay open forever once you try their food.”

“Was getting emergency groceries at the supermarket next door. It was total pandemonium due to the pandemic. My wife and I got hungry but we were worried about the current situation and cleanliness of places. I peaked inside Frangos and was immediately happy with how clean it was. We decided to try it. As soon as we sat down the hostess gave us clean utensils and glasses. We asked her to recommend some items. We trusted her recommendations and tried the Peri Chicken Burger, Gourmet burger, Whole chicken, and some other dishes. Everyone must try these dishes. We took food home to the kids at home. My family enjoyed every dish. My fussy son even wanted another piece of chicken. He never does that. Will definitely be coming again. The flavors were unique and mouthwatering. Thank you!!!”

“This food was fantastic. I was visiting from Texas and a friend recommended it because it had just opened. I have had afghan cuisine all over the US and this one is up there with the best of them. Definitely the best in New York. It actually reminded me of the Afghan restaurants in Toronto that are well known. The food was very fresh. The Staff was amazing. The restaurant is very clean.
