Seating space is very limited as it only has a long shared table and a bar (plus 2 seperate tables if you are lucky enough). Food is good, some dishes such as wagyu beef did give a nice surprise.
-1 star: because we were not comfortable with the fact that the restaurant made supplement recommendations without mentioning it is quite costly. Hence the 4-star.
-1 star: because the seating area was really, really freezing. It is right next to the door. The door was opened almost every minute so we got frozen throughout the dinner time. Hence the 3-star.
I guess the duck is good when they have it, everyone was having it except us and we and we arrived at 8:00, they told us they didn’t have more duck and everyone that arrived after us were able to order it, the rest of the dishes were ok but nothing special. Great service in the bar.
This is by far the best Perking Duck in NYC. We also have many of their “snacks” and all of them was delicious. Some of their snacks were even better than the Duck.
Great service, and the food and drink was impeccable. Their old fashion was a great twist on a classic and great way to start the dining experience. I was fortunate enough to be a guest at a company party here and got to sample a wide range of the menu. Very original and meticulously prepared. Kudos to the chef and staff for a wonderful night.
Best Peking Duck in NYC and even in the NY Region. However, if you tend to get some private dining experience here it would be nearly possible. Last time I requested the table for 2 not at the communal table. It was really tiny and the duck meal barely fitted on our table...I tried to go there second time with my bf but reservation was painful as they were so booked for weekends. Reserve ahead of time if you really wanna dine here.
