Great Indian menu and atmosphere... a little cramped and often busy but otherwise fine. Our Labor Union gathers there yearly to announce and celebrate our membership and benefits.
These guys are great. The lunch buffet is a wonderful way to try some Indian dishes you might not be familiar with. Evening dining is Langer and really relaxing. They are here for a long time for a reason!
The food I had here was fine, but not great - the samosas were flavorful; the tandoori chicken did not seem to have been marinated with much spice. It was a 90 degree day, and the space was too warm; they didn't include any ice in my water. Aside from that, service was good. I don't normally care about decor, but this place looked run down and was darker inside than I thought it needed to be. It didn't feel very festive.
My past posts about this place were truthful and not very nice. But a waiter there on my last visit the other day made me a forgiving spirit. The food is awesome here. And it’s vegetarian friendly. I’m used to paying bargain prices at restaurants but the little more here is well worth it.
