It's kind of expensive for what you get, and the food is not very inspired. But the service is friendly, it's reliable and tasty - the best spot on the island.

Update: after 3 months, on our 10th visit, a burger with bad meat. We shared it and now both our stomachs are upset. I feel like I'm going to throw up. Deducting one star, because it's the first time....

I love this place. Food is pretty good and they offer an ample menu with several options. I can spend my review giving compliments but I really want this business get better, so these comments are for the owner. 1st: Train your staff to attend customers properly to anticipate customer needs. Many of the waiters are lovely but they bring the food before the drinks or cutlery, they forget clean the table, they don't bring enough napkins, they don't wait to take the note completely, they bring the check late,etc. This usually happens where the manager is not there. Also, be careful with amateur staff, we recently were attended by a rude and impatient blond waitress that was not listening, she took note of our food and left with out asking our drinks, questioning our food decisions, chewing gum loudly while interacting with us, among other inappropriate interactions. We don't expect this is a Michelin Star restaurant, but a bad service really kills your business.

Cool building brought us inside, tasty food will bring us back. The servers were all nice and service was quick. I had the shrimp po'boy and my wife had the steak and cheddar wrap. Loved the garlic sauce in mine. She loved the large chunks of nicely cooked steak in hers.

Service is on par with only the highest quality restaurants from around the world. Their food makes your mind jump back to memories of being a child... cradled in the warm, loving arms of your mother. Delicious, homey, nostalgic - an overall top notch experience. Highly recommend.
