Daisies Burgers

This is a cute little burger spot that, while very good, still has some room for improvement based on the visit that I had.

I arrived right at the tail-end of a lunch rush. There were several people in front of me in line and I waited about 8-10 minutes before placing my order. Side note: the music was WAY too loud for the size of restaurant.

I seated myself outside and waited. Other tables received carafes of water and cutlery, I did not.

After 17 minutes, my burger and crispy cauliflower was served with an apology for it taking so long, and I was graciously given a card to use sat my next visit for a free burger. I still didn’t have any silverware (needed for the cauliflower) so I went inside to get my own.

The burger, while extremely tasty, was unfortunately mostly cold. The very center of the burger was lukewarm. My guess is that my burger was made but it’s service to me fell through the cracks. It happens. I get it. I wish they had simply told me and offered to remake it instead of bringing me a COLD burger and a coupon for a free one.

The crispy cauliflower, on the other hand, was so delicious that as I ate my cold burger, I wished I had ordered two servings.

The worker was so incredibly friendly that he literally made my three-star review into a four-star due to his positive attitude and demeanor.

Overall, I think it was a good experience, but I do hope I get a hot burger the next time!

A large selection of all types of burgers, with options for vegetarian/vegan/gluten free. Really satisfied our burger cravings and I would come back to try their plant based or chicken options!

Tried these burgers which are way below the average burger quality the city has to offer. Maybe people come here for their vegetarian options which look pretty good. The burger was ok and not terrible, but with many other options in the city I would probably go somewhere else.

New favorite burger spot in the neighborhood. This place is the cutest. Lots of outdoor seating and the inside is cozy. I went with the Fancy B burger and Diasies fries and they both were BOMB. The burger was cooked perfectly and super juicy. Fries were crisp and the seasoning was so good you could eat them without any condiments. I love how they have serval bun options + a gluten free one. I need to go back and try the classic burger and the chicken sandwiches. They have a bunch of options and some good side sauces. Pro tip: dip your Fancy B burger (and your fries) in the truffle mayo. I can’t stop thinking about this place lol.

I walked by this newish spot on Hudson and was thrilled to see that they have a very vegan friendly menu. I tried the plant based burger with fries and truffle sauce. The space is spotlessly clean, service is friendly and food fresh and delicious. Definitely worth checking out!
