The Grey Dog Chelsea

I recently turned 44. Been calling nyc home for most of those years. I was a teenager here in 90s. But I'm not going to be one of those people constantly, incessantly reminiscing on the good old bad days.

So whilst I was reading about this place, my caveman nyc instinct kicked in and I was thinking the food couldn't be that good because it sounds like they're so...nice?

They gave me a welcome as a new customer discount and my order was ready on time. The sandwich was delectable and it was just great. Price is surprisingly affordable for the area when you consider how high quality the food is.

Would recommend.

american food... my favorite treat. Really nothing but great experiences here, so I will be back. The bill won't shock you. Similar to a cafe in Las Vegas I liked.

This place is located in a seedy area of SF, but that doesn't stop folks from LINING up at 7am for some delicious pancakes and banana sweet roll. You could get eggs, but why would you when the carbs here are so good. I almost stole the cornbread off the table next to me. Almost.

The The Grey Dog Chelsea roll was amazing. Our waitress was really friendly. Portions were huge, neither of us could finish our meals. My only complaint was the 1.25 hour queue we waited and the location of the restaurant.

I love this place! It is a very cute, little spot for brunch. The staff was very helpful and attentive. I ordered the grey dog breakfast and it was delicious! It is also a good amount of food fir a great price! Overall good experience.
