“Sorry don't like to leave negative reviews. But this was a place recommended by someone saying it was top notch. My meal of strip steak and lobster could not be filled, had to have scallops as substitute. Strip was fine but scallop fried from a bag not fresh. The veal pizziola was dry and over cook.Meat balls that came with spaghetti were cold. Plus ran out of the choice of beer before we got started. Not going there again. Sorry”

“I waited until I could take my time to write this. What an AMAZING little gem in Niagara Falls NY. From the outside you may pass it by, but you MUST go in. This was the BEST Lebanese food I have had to date. My palate was exploding with delight. EVERYTHING we ordered was amazing, the staff was wonderful, and food out quickly. We were so full but they talked us into coffee (which was SO GOOD) and baklava cheesecake. OH WHAT A TREAT. I can say that this is a MUST EAT if you are in the area. You will thank me, I assure you. THANK you for topping off our day of exploring with friendly service, unbelievably good food and some great 80’s music.”

“We had our reception in the separate room and it was amazing! Dana, the manager, was very easy to work with and they had several options on how to handle the crowd of 20 guests. All of the food was great and everything went perfectly. We came from VA so we only emailed back and forth a few times, but they did a great job of making sure to respond and handle everything professionally. They also put us in touch with the pastry chef that made our cake and it was beautiful and very inexpensive.”

“Had an amazing dinner! Started with a tasty caesar salad with white anchovies. Then had the dinner special which was a pan seared halibut over crab risotto with a basil cream sauce. With my glass of martin ray chardonnay it was unbelievable. Even the bread which was a mix of crusty Italian bread and a mixed grain bread was great. Possibly the best part of our meal was our waitress Gina. She was knowledgeable, friendly and spot on. Great job!”

“The food is amazing. I had the Falls Classic burger and it was delicious. It wasn't too greasy or too dry on the inside. The flavor of the salad inside complements the patty and cheese. I would definitely recommend that burger. Another thing I would recommend is the terrapin salad. The salad itself was great, but the sauce was so good. It tasted like yogurt.”

“I have been to the Western Door 4 times now in the last 2 years. I have never been disappointed. The food is amazing, the staff are all great and very accommodating. We realized after our first visit that the portions are way more than one person can handle so we now share meals. I was there this past weekend with 4 other ladies. We ordered 1 prime rib, 1 salmon and a few sides. We asked that they bring us 5 plates and serve the food as a family style and they did just that. We still had leftovers and our bill was less than $150.00 including drinks. I highly recommend the Western Door and I will return again when I visit the Seneca Casino. You can book reservations on line which is very easy to do”

“Staff were amazing. They were able to cater for our large group (17 of us) without a reservation. Add to this many of our group have specific dietary requirements, which wasn't an issue. The food was excellent and offered a wide selection in the buffet. Only down-side was the chair covers were a little worn, but still clean. :) If ever I find myself back in Niagara I would definitely dine here again! It's 3-star rating is under rated.”

“As an avid buffalo wing eater Anchor Bar has been on my culinary bucket list for a while. During a recent trip up to Niagara Falls the plan was to stop in Buffalo to go. When we found out there was a location at the falls we were ecstatic. Parking is a bit pricey as there is no free parking but the restaurant itself is large and clean. Surprisingly affordable and delicious. We had wings, beers and a sampler for 4 people for about $40 bucks. The wings were good as was the rest of the food. Glad we got to try it and would stop in again.”
