I absolutely love this spot.
It's wonderful for a date night out, one of the few places left that you can truly dress for.
The staff is always so kind, attentive and well-spoken. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming. The cuisine is an absolute delight.
And the crowd is as delightful and they are beautiful.
Had an enjoyable visit recently to the restaurant. The food and service was impeccable. I had the Pork Chop Milanese and my wife had the Rigatoni Al Tre Funghi. Love the atmosphere. Everyone in our party remarked how delicious their meal was. We had one small issue with our bill and the owner was totally professional and courteous in correcting the issue. We will definitely be back.
Had the calamari along with the sausage and a bunch of desserts at a party. All the food was cooked amazing and tasted great. I have never had calamari with capers but man oh man what a flavor profile that is. WOW . Great service also and the beer prices were not that bad. I wish they served Gabagool.
We loved it!!
We decided to go with the arsenale and although it's a bit pricey, we really got a lot of food. Just when we thought they were done bringing the food out, another dish came out, homemade sausage and peppers, chicken parm, meatballs just to name a few, ended with chocolate salami and a huge bowl of salted caramel gelato, OMG!! The drinks were light and refreshing and the atmosphere was so beautiful. I love how much of the bank they left in tact, what a great addition to Utica. Can't wait to go back with the entire family.
PS, the music didn't seem load so maybe they adjusted after seeing past reviews. We also went early and it was quiet.
Wow! So glad Nostro is a new part of the downtown Utica restaurant scene. We went for a weekend date night and loved every minute. The ambience was just right with low lights and music in the background but not overbearing. Our waiter Antonio was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The cocktails he recommended were so delicious—we had the Mercy Room and the Jungle Bird. Then we had a chef’s tasting of the menu with the request for vegetarian dishes. We were so pleasantly surprised with the wide variety of options ranging from the cheese plate, broccoli rabe, roasted potatoes, zucchini chips, fried peppers, arugula salad, risotto, and campanelle pesto. The meal was topped off with a light merengue cake slice, which was especially tasty. Looking forward to many more visits in the future!
