“First time Popeyes customer. Very friendly employee, and very fast service in the drive-thru. I liked the potatoes and gravy very much and the chicken tenders were good size and very crispy. The reason for three stars is that the chicken tasted like it was deep fried in hamburger grease. My son tried it and said the same. Like I said, I’ve never eaten here before so maybe that’s just how it tastes, but it was odd to me. 🤷🏼♀️”

“The food is exceptional and the owner is friendly. This BBQ place is located in the same parking lot as Cupolo & Son Automotive Services. They got specials which I believe changes every so often. We ordered the 1/2 rack of baby back ribs with 2 sides (Potato Salad & Jambalay) and their special brisket burnt ends with 2 sides (Baked Beans & Jambalay). Everything tasted amazing, I especially loved the brisket burnt ends and the potato salad. The owner is very nice and gave us some samples and sauce to try. The price is reasonable especially the portion is huge for us. We can make 3 meals out of all the food we've got. Definitely will come back again for more!”

“I was in the area getting my vaccine, so I went here to pick up some groceries. They had a vast selection of products, I was especially impressed by their meats. My dad is Balkan so it was nice to find some of the delicacies I grew up with. I went back a second time with my husband when I was back in Utica and we had a great time looking through the whole store and buying a bunch of amazing products. The people working there are friendly and accommodating. They made sure we had proper packaging so we can bring back our perishables safely. We are definitely planning on coming back as soon as we can to buy some more delicious food!”

“Chef does not know how to cook burgers. I ordered my burger medium rare; the first time it came back it was raw. Asked the nice waitress to send it back. Second time around, still raw. The owner came out from the kitchen and argued with my family. Decided burger will be cooked medium-well. Third time burger came back it was well done almost burnt. My family has been to hundreds of restaurants, and for someone to criticize us saying we don’t know how burgers are supposed to be cooked is unacceptable. Owner did compensate us by taking 2 burgers off the final bill. Hopefully this issue will be address with the chef. Otherwise all the appetizers and salads we had were very good. Our waitress was nice also.”

We had a great time talking about our mutual Navy experiences while the food was cooking, enjoyed a great breakfast in a back-home atmosphere. The process of ordering is unique and efficient, projecting a make-yourself-at-home feeling. This is a huge diner in a deceptively small package. Anyplace that is a local favorite, such as this, as judged by the clientele, has to be good. This will be a must-stop anytime I visit the North Country. I’m not generally a fan of NY style pizza, I usually prefer a thicker crust, but their pizza was so delicious I couldn’t stop eating it, lol. “Wouldn't 100% recommend just because our cake for our October wedding was supposed to be two different flavors and it was only one. That was super disappointing- me and my husband even went back and checked and our order did definitely state each tier to be a different flavor but the entire cake was just one. It was the flavor we liked the most too that was missing and we had told our guests how delicious and amazing the coconut cake was and wait till they tried it- but then all night they all just asked wheres the coconut cake 🤦♀️🤷♀️ (It was delicious really the cake they make is incredible) Also seemed to be alot of mis communication with staff on what we did/didnt get included in our package for dessert. Everytime we spoke to someone it was a different answer. First it was we got 4 flavor cupcakes included then it changed to one then one point they tried to tell us we got none included so was very confusing to deal with. Ended up as one flavor cupcake included which was very delicious we got the smores! Overall though the cake itself was very delicious and beautiful and looked exactly how we wanted 😁”
