Funk 'n Waffles

Not only was this SO DELICIOUS but we had no wait time and the cashier was so sweet and friendly. Great pricing, great food, great customer service. It was my first time trying chicken n waffles and it was incredible. 5 stars all around!

Great menu and cool design but the waffles are just not very good. I can make better waffles from my waffle maker. I really wanted to love this place but couldn’t. I think they should work on improving their waffles which I’m sure they can do. Woman at front counter was wonderful. I think I met the owner on way out as well and he seemed very nice

5 stars for that chicken! We just tried a half plate of chicken tenders and waffles. It was GOOD! I prefer a waffle with a little more crisp but it was fine. The chicken tenders were really great though! My friend really liked the house sauce but I wasn't a fan. I felt like it was just muddled down versions of syrup and hot wing sauce.

What a fun vibe. We tried three of their offerings: a buttermilk & a buckwheat (both with fruit), and the "jive turkey". The latter was delicious - really well balanced - Thanksgiving in a perfect bite. The lavender latte was a first and I would order again. We went for lunch, but I hear from friends it's even more fun at night with live music.
