Best Texas BBQ around. I love it but have even taken people from Texas there and they love it. Go get some.

*Highly* recommended if you're anywhere near the area, and worth a trip out of your way if you're travelling on the Taconic Parkway - get off the Parkway at the Route 301/Cold Spring exit, take 301 west towards Cold Spring, make a left at Route 9 and they're about 1/4 mile south on the right.

I was tipped off to "this barbecue place on Route 9" by friends who live in the area. I've had all manner and style of BBQ over the years, from New York to all over the South/Southeast and Texas, and this place blows them *all* out of the water! The food reminds me of the best home-made BBQ - not only do they use quality ingredients and have great recipes, but they have the right people cooking it and running the show. You can tell their hearts are into making the best food they can possibly make, and they genuinely enjoy it.

Food was great even compared to the better ones in NYC. We really liked the brisket and ribs. Service was great too. Would come back next time and we are in the area.

Amazing BBQ! The food here was fabulous!! Juicy BBQ flavored meat with great sides to accompany the meals. We had an order "to stay" and it was so delicious we took another order home. This is a great place to visit.
