Everybody that have passed by NYC must have at least tried out Shake Shack at least once already. There is a good reason for that. The burger is simply mouth wateringly moist and juicy. No crazy unnecessary fancy toppings for this place. Simply a burger done well from fresh, non frozen beef made by famed butcher Pat LaFrieda just across the river in nearby New Jersey.

For those that are vegetarians, there is a good alternative called the Shroom burger or for those like me who can't decide on either the Shack burger or the Shroom burger, there is the combo of both worlds called the Shack Stack. It is a Shroom burger patty on top of the regular beef patty between two buns and their famous Shack Sauce. I highly recommend that people give this one a try. No let me change that last statement. You HAVE to try the Shack Stack. You'll thank me later.

The Chick'n Shack is a good alternative to those that don't eat beef. A well seasoned fried chicken sandwich perfection with a nice crispy outer layer with a moist free range chicken meat inside over a potato roll.

Their vanilla flavored shakes is always nicely cold and thick without being too sweet. I wouldn't say it's the best I've tried but it's up there.

I wasn't too big a fan of their fries though. It's crinkle cut style and kind of bland tasting to me, even with the cheese topping. I know that there are fans of their fries but I personally prefer the fries from Five Guys, especially the Cajun Fries version. To me, those are almost fries perfection. Buy the fries from Five Guys from elsewhere nearby in this Terminal and combine it with the burgers here and you have almost the perfect combo.

Just be prepared for a bit of a wait. There always seems to be a line the various times I passed by in the Terminal.
