Amar Peruvian Kitchen

New favorite Peruvian restaurant. The green sauce is wonderful. They also have vegan items. The vegetables they have for the lunch special are well cooked. I will come back again. (Been here twice already). Service is great. For self seating there's always a great selection of seats to choose from. Prices are decent too. I wish I can have the chicken right now!!

Chicken is top notch Peruvian. Never dry always moist with the flavor penetrating to the core of the breasts even. Ahi Verde is second to none. There are Peruvian places closer to me and alot easier to park near (if your picking up you should ask them to run it out to you)... But worth the extra time prices are fair, maybe just a little higher than other Peruvian places (on a whole) but the food is worth it, then again the place by me charges more for less and is not as good. If the ceviche (im not big on ceviche)is half as good as the chicken you have nothing to worry about.

Lomo Saltado , I don’t usually eat meat friend recommended to try it. Turns out it’s actually good . Nice service too.

So I came here after hearing from the Forest Hills community group that it just opened. Met one of the owners, Adriana, so lovely!! She and her two sisters run the family owned business (moved from a Queens Blvd location due to large building construction).

I just felt like a healthy vegetarian option today but they have a delicious and fresh selection of food.

This place is larger than expected. Lots of tables to pick from. We ordered a ceviche and a meet dish and they were both excellent. The service was very good. We will definitely come back.
