“I should have come back sooner! I had their delicious Korean fried chicken long ago a few times when I had more opportunity to get to this part of Queens. I've finally returned and enjoyed way more than just their chicken. I attended a double birthday get-together reserved in the downstairs area where about 15+ attendees (all vaccinated) enjoyed great service and great food in a comfortable space. SERVICE - the staff was pleasant and attentive and the owner, Young, is a great and funny guy who went above and beyond to make sure the party was a success and that guests were happy. FOOD - delicious and varied menu. The party had various appetizers brought to the tables and then platters of different burgers and fried wings followed. DRINK - solid menu of wines and beers and a watermelon Soju bowl for all to share! SPACE - comfy and cozy area for party attendees to eat, drink, move about to mingle, be merry, and sing karaoke on the TV hung up on the wall. WAS HAVING SO MUCH FUN, I FORGET TO TAKE PICTURES!”

“Absolutely LOVED THIS PLACE. The place is rather small but worth every cent! Very clean! I sat indoors to eat. The waitress was amazing. Your choice of flour tortillas or corn tortillas was an option. The steak, chicken was very well seasoned! Every thing was freshly made. The meats did not taste like the refrigerator freezer, and this was great quality in my opinion. The owner is very nice. The cook is amazing! You won’t regret eating from “Orale Mexico”.”

Not only is it conveniently located right next to the Astoria Blvd NW station, but the baristas that work there are super friendly and always follow order instructions to the T. “Ordered a delivery and the food came nicely packaged and piping hot! This place is so unbelievably affordable!! Beef tips speciality - $6.60 - WOW these were great in flavor and tenderness. The portion of meat to cost is most definitely worth it. I would just get an order of this alone next time! Eggplant - $6.70 - Cooked tender but unfortunately lacked a bit of flavor for me. With some extra soy sauce, salt, or garlic tones might have done it some good Twice Cooked Pork - $14 - This is not your standard Twice Cooked Pork. It was heavily breaded but the taste was alright. It’s filled with some veggies as well. Overall, I’m satisfied with the meal and taste. I would try some of the other dishes next time around.”

“The food at Salerno's is better than it has any right to be. It is a modest place with a few seats indoors and out and a menu with both Italian and Mexican food. The pizza rivals even the most well known spots in Astoria, and they always have the most options for toppings. Whatever you want, they'll prepare it. And the tacos, quesadillas, burritos... oh my god... out of this world! If you can't decide what you want, ask them what they recommend but really you can't go wrong. I would also like to say my order is always right and it is definitely worth calling and ordering directly from the restaurant to avoid only ordering fees. Just note that even though they take cards with Seamless and in-person orders, delivery orders over the phone require cash. Enjoy!”
